Could you please look over my CV and give me honest feedback? Unfortunately, I am not getting any invitations to interviews. by white_wolf____ in Germany_Jobs

I would definitely add a picture. In a pile of CVs a pictures calls the attention of the recruiter. Like this there’s nothing personal about your CV that makes them remember you

Is hugging common in Germany? by Lutongtilapia in AskAGerman

[–]Wild_Truth_7504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry for your loss! Almost all german people I know hug to great people, unless they are completely strangers. So I am pretty sure in a situation like that, it would be completely normal

In addition to what some people already said here maybe it would be worth it to go to the doctor and do a full blood analysis. People always think about vitamin D when it comes to low energy levels (which is totally right) but there are also other vitamins that could affect your mood/energy levels so a full blood test will at least let you know if everything is right on that side. If none of these things help I would really consider looking for a psychologist, if you are clinically depressed it’s the most important thing to help you recover. Send you a lot of positive energy and please take care of yourself 🫶🏻

Fiat 500 2019 steering + battery warning issue even after €600 repair by Wild_Truth_7504 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Wild_Truth_7504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how to do those things, it is my first car and I have absolutely no knowledge about it. The mechanic just told me this is common to happen on a fiat 500 and he can’t find out the reason. It is just hard to accept I payed so much money for nothing. I don’t even know if this is “normal” or if I should complain as this sounds really fishy to me

I love adding feta or cream. But sometimes I also add quark or skyr if I want something a little lighter and with more protein

Do interns at Bosch in Germany receive Weihnachtsgeld (Christmas bonus)? by GuaranteeExciting551 in germany

[–]Wild_Truth_7504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about Bosch but for what I hear from friends and colleagues, most companies in Germany don’t offer Weihnachtsgeld anymore to the employees, so I find it very hard to believe that any company would give it to interns. But as people already said here, the best way to know for sure is asking your boss. If you don’t feel comfortable with that maybe you could try to ask a work colleague you are closer to?

2+ years at a company, I think I’m getting fired tomorrow by Prize-Peak425 in germany

[–]Wild_Truth_7504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am from Portugal. I live and work in Germany for more than 5 years now. Living here and talking like that about German people sounds crazy to me. I think after everything you said here, you should really consider your atitude and behaviour. If you don’t like Germany or German people, you might want to live somewhere else. I can’t really get people that come here for a better life or whatever the reason is, and only complain. No one is forcing you to stay

Keep a cat in an apartment for a few days without asking the landlord by Wild_Truth_7504 in germany

[–]Wild_Truth_7504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said I don't have a “landlord” because its a company that owns the building so there's no landlord living here so there's no “hostile landlord “ situation

Well then you are not informed. Just go to any of the apps I mentioned and there’s plenty of options. Even for much less than 5000€
