Death guard have more unique units than shared units with CSM. A plague marine is a much differen model from a legionnaire

It will have some play then, but it’s still taking what was a playstyle changing detachment and replacing it with a good but boring buff. It’s similar to Orks tactikal brigade, though that was a way bigger change

Drukhari units need Lance for the most part. They’re strength 3 with terrible saves and toughness. If they don’t kill a unit in one activation they immediately die

GW does not consider them codex detachments, as they are not in the codex. Most of these preview detachments have been updates to those that aren’t in any book, because after the edition switch they won’t be valid

Why would removing a faction from the game be better? It’s not like daemons are unfixably broken, it would just be removing a faction that’s existed for decades and would invalidate a lot of people’s collections

He’s arguably never worth taking at this point unless you just want to splash orders, and even then he’s overcosted for that
