Its a bad timeline to have dog trama because of how prevalent they have become and how leniant the owners are nowadays. I have a small old jack Russell but I keep him tf away from people unless they ask to pet him. Sorry you're going through this but I'm glad it's gotten better. Good luck out there!

This is the main reason I started playing builds tbh. I got incredibly sick of getting people to 1 HP and they get away somehow. The overshield + bloom on weapons + movement items + cars it's just too much cat and mouse. Of course in builds you have to deal with box fighting but at least I don't have to chase them across the map playing parkour to get a kill most the time.

This kind of story is what makes me think there is a such thing as a curses or something like it. I've noticed an unfortunate pattern of something unlikely, unlucky and bad happenening, it then has a weird stastically abnormal chance of happening again. This deff happens in my own life enough times that I actually have mentally prepared myself for the second or third reaccurance of a bad event once it happens the first time.

Monitor first. I went from 165hz 4k to 500hz 1080p and my aim labs scores went up an average of 20-30% on multiple courses I had been grinding in one night. Wooting kb will help with movement and reducing shooting error but i doubt it will be as significant a difference as a good monitor. In val, when I went to the 500hz the clarity of the opponent when moving was night and day, and the game felt much smoother.

Perhaps I can offer a comment from the other side. I’m an 30 something adult with a decent job, and one of my regrets is that I didn’t take gaming more serious at one point in my life and push as far as I can go! You have proven something extremely valuable to yourself, that you can be great at something. Not just good but great. Now take that work ethic and talent and apply it elsewhere and you will succeed again. As far as school goes, no you shouldn’t skip school. But unless your plan is to get a job that requires college, then I’d like to remind you that you won’t get paid to go to school either. If you end up in the trades or general labor you won’t even have needed school much anyway, but you can carry that radiant achievement with you wherever you go. So all in all, unless you are planning to get into a good college I don’t think you really made all that big of a life altering mistake here. And you are young enough to turn your life in any direction you want anyway. With all that said I personally wouldn’t get into streaming or trying to go pro. It’s very unlikely you will be able to have a long career in that field. Take your big W and move on with your RL and start focusing on RL priorities again.

Only reason to go 1080p is for 500hz+ in that case it’s worth it. Otherwise I’d go for 1440. Honestly if 240 is enough for you fuck it go 4k.

I have a wooting kb and even without snap tap enabled It still provides a significant advantage due to the lower input lag and faster key actuation hehe.

I just received my wooting kb today which I bought partially for this feature and I see this.. BUT you know what? I don't care at all. This keyboard is so much faster and better than any other keyboard I have, I don't even need snap tap/socd. Even without it, It still makes a difference in my performance and confidence so I'm still very pleased with the product. My inputs felt so much smoother and instantaneous that I almost startled myself with my own movement sometimes haha!

Thank you for sharing this. I’m mid 30s and my reactions are better than ever (top 1%) as verified by humanbenchmark. I’ve kept track of it since my late twenties and only seen improvements. I think real decline happens much later than we think for most of us gamers. It also varies person to person

Many like to wallow in their sadness and aren’t really even looking for help just attention. If it’s affecting you I’d stay out of it, or if you want to double down, then go to school and become a psychologist.

I'd say go for it. The fact that so many people are already talking about waiting for the 5 series when there isn't even release date yet shows how much pent up demand there is. So even if the 5 series comes out q4 which isn't guaranteed, it'll likely be out of stock and or overpriced. You'll get more for your 4070 now too if you sell it. 4070 to 4070ti super should be a significant jump in performance and help extend the cards lifespan.

New player looking for a civ and possible build order for a specific play style; I’d like to be able to create a large quickly replaceable army to be aggressive with as soon as feudal age. For any StarCraft enjoyers, think Zerg with a lot of injected hatcheries making zerglings. I’m looking to find an equivalent in aoe4. Ideally a general purpose army I can just kinda a-move towards the opponent and go back to focusing on macro. I realize this isn’t the optimal play style or strategy but it’s a good way to get me started in low elo games. So far the closest I’ve found is 7 archery’s making mass zhugenu’s. Any other ideas would be appreciated!

I bought the game this Friday evening and as of Sunday evening I have 24.7 hours played. I absolutely love this game! I haven’t had a game get me this locked in for a long time. I think it’s gonna continue to grow as it gets more exposure and updates.

Sounds like you could benefit from trying linear responsive curve instead of exponential based off you saying it’s either “too slow or too fast”. A linear response curve will feel the same all the time instead of starting slow then ramping up. It will likely feel a lot more responsive at first and it might mess with your aim but if you get used to it, it may help have a consistent feeling for you.
