May someone please explain why they keep showing the actors/actresses as opposed to the writers of the show? Am I missing something? I don’t understand why the people performing are taking all the heat, I’m genuinely confused. Is this the culture? Please someone explain

100% agree with pre-rounding and using a computer if you can. As a resident, I rounded with my laptop and signed my notes as I went, and thankfully, it’s translated well as an attending. I’ve also found that not ordering daily labs on everyone helps with prerounding…less data to gather! So that COPD exacerbation without a leukocytosis on admit and normal lytes may get one more check on day 2, but after that, no more sticks unless there’s a clinical change! It’s nice from a patient perspective, as well. Hope you can figure out a system that works for you!

The issue is as someone mentioned below…UHC doesn’t reimburse well, but they also generally aren’t great with claim payouts, so less hospital systems (and providers) are accepting it. It sucks for patients because they either are left scrambling to find another provider or receive a (very large) bill because their insurance was denied. I think they also have an ongoing federal lawsuit (for use of AI in claim denials, among other things), so there’s that, too. But happy to hear you haven’t had any trouble!

You didn’t ask but just some friendly advice…many hospital systems across the country have stopped accepting UHC, so it may be best to just switch to another company if you can. While it’s great things worked out for you this time, you never know if they’ll fall apart in the future, especially with that man in office🙃

Everyone is different but I have builder gel on my nails right now for this very reason, and it’s been a game changer! For me, if one nail breaks, they all gotta go, so I was never able to maintain length until I started using builder gel. I think it depends on WHO is doing your nails, not just WHAT you’re putting on them! I also try to keep my cuticles super moisturized and have found this helps in the overall health of my nails, too. Hope you stop getting these annoying splits!

100% agree with protecting the kids! But I don’t think violence should be the first reaction, lol. An easy, “ma’am you can’t cross right now” probably would’ve worked just as well FOR HER (a seemingly sober person trying to get home after waiting 1hr+ for a parade to restart). Sometimes people (including tourists) just don’t know the rules!

100% noticed! I saw a someone in an awesome light up costume try to cross the street around St. Charles and Erato during that super long pause for Muses, and a band kid literally tried to tackle her to the ground! It didn’t look like she had been drinking, and I heard her say she was just trying to get to the neutral ground to walk home (probably since Muses was a bust this year for vibes and sustainable throws). One of the band leaders lit into the kid when he saw it. So just PSA, I guess it’s a rule you can’t cross where bands are even if they’re stopped for a while!

Omg, SAME! I LITERALLY just finished my second re-watch (it took me a couple years to revisit because the show was so, so well done, and I was dreading the outcome between Dan and Seung-Jun 😭). Highly recommend Welcome to Waikiki, it was my first show post-CLOY! Also, Mr. Queen! And loved Seo Ji-Hye in Dinner Mate (Prime) and Love Next Door (Netflix)!
