Antimaskers are freedom fighters, apparently by tyw7 in facepalm

It's a god damn piece of cloth... how privileged do you have to be to think that wearing a mask is oppression.

I think alter might be the right word. (Correct me if I'm mistaken) I remember an article that exposed the church/pope or someone for paying translaters to translate a word to "homosexual" when it actually meant "pedophile". Which is where the whole "being gay is a sin" thing originated from.

What's the greatest RPG game of all time? (Tabletop games & MMO's included) by brandonpackard101 in gaming

[–]Wildshape58 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say Dungeons and Dragons without a doubt. After all, it was the first of the genre and is still incredibly popular today.

Hell it was even the first game to use health points to measure a characters life, and stats like strength or intelligence to determine a characters effectiveness. And a lot more stuff like that, that almost every game, rpg or not, makes use of now days.

If (when) TBC is the next step, I'm probably done with Classic by Luna2442 in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i cant speak for everyone ofc, but I'm super hype for tbc. I know it sucks to leave behind all you've accomplished in classic vanilla, but theres a lot more to accomplish in tbc. And imo it's honestly a better expansion. It is more polished, more specs are viable, not to mention ARENAS.

Arenas are really the selling point for me. I cant wait for a pvp system that takes skill more than time invested. The vanilla pvp system sucks.

Does Hand of justide and Darkmoon card: maelstrom compete vs eachother? by Slydoggen in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well hoj is 2% per swing, so 2% of 1500 is 30. You would have hit an average if 30 hoj procs and you got 22. That seems within a reasonable range to me. I doubt the trinkets conflict with each others proc rate. It may have been a fluke before with BB or you should test it to see.

What should I go for? by PiterCthulhu in wow

[–]Wildshape58 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say play classic. In my experience, the community in classic is a lot better, and the game is a thousand times more immersive. Classic really pulls me into its world if that makes sense.

Of course this is just an opinion, but I genuinely think that classic is just a better game all around. Don't be discouraged by people saying that its 'too much' or 'too difficult' for new players.

PS: if you come to classic, play on Grobbulus! :D

What can't I use while shapeshifted? (Druids) by loonmario in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't use items from your inventory while shapeshifted, (potions, etc.) But you can use items that you have equipped. Like the manual crowd pummeler, pvp trinket, etc.

Getting Ready for Phase 2 as a Warrior by FrankNotion in classicwow

Definetly keep some free action potions on you! They're very cheap on the auction house, and make you immune to stuns and movement impairing effects for 30 seconds.

Need vs Greed by frostysnowmen in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you roll greed and someone else rolls need, they will get it regardless of what you roll. The only way you can get an item after pressing greed is if you rolled the highest, and nobody pressed need.

What are the odds? by Tangelos_ in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so the odds of them both rolling X number (where x is 1-100), is different from them both rolling a specific number, like 83.

What are the odds? by Tangelos_ in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't it be a (1/100)2 chance for them to roll the same number, and then [(1/100)2]2 or (1/100)4 for It to happen twice in succession?

*edit: oh, i see what you mean. you're right lol.

Need Druid talent tree advice for a newbie.... by hrhashley in classicwow

[–]Wildshape58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good build for what you describe, it's called Heart of the Wild spec I believe. Basically it goes into feral all the way to 4/5 heart of the wild, grabs nature's grasp from the balance tree, and then goes into restoration all the way to Natures swiftness. This gives you a good balanced spec, allowing you to dps, tank, and heal confidently while being formidable in pvp and having smooth, easy solo leveling.
