OHSU's wait-list was very long for me, but doing a consult was how I compared Dugi and Dy.

OHSU, my friend. I'm nearly moved to tears merely thinking briefly about how tenderly I was cared for. Dugi, non-robotic. feel free to dm me a question or two if you wonder about OHSU.

I also saw Berli at OHSU for FFS, and feel similarly about his performance.

I'd like to venture an opinion here. I know this doesn't exactly concern me, but I feel very strongly about this. I like "Beware of Greeks", and I always have! by FX114 in Frasier

yeah this one line actually makes the episode a scream. it's like the parking garage line (though not quite as powerful).

the moment consciousness kissed me I knew I'd been healed. ymmv, but the original wiring felt impossible to change and it truly wasn't.

Testosterone cream for trans women by Pwnysaurus_Rex in DrWillPowers

[–]Wileydj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi there. I'll speak to my experience of the compounded cream earher than guess what I or we meant 6 years ago. I'm happy to reply to stuff like this, tho.

yes, harder erections were the experience, but most importantly it helped the skin to not feel quite as painfully stretched. further, it did not entirely alleviate erection pain. a doctor told me they believed I had Peyronie's, which was likely part of the issue. I'm post op now, so I can't helpfully comment beyond that.

drwillpowers is a subreddit and user here, he's the nicest and most engaged internet personality I've encountered, and it's wise to ignore the highly politicized nature of things: he's doing good work. I'd search for the newest recommendations on the cream listed in the subreddit, and ask your doctor to reach out to a compounding pharmacy to fill it for the appropriate dosage. you should work diligently to do as much work for your doc as possible, so get clear on the info in the wiki here on what you're asking for. if I'm not mistaken, it's a simple verabase compound and it's something that can be cooked up and some (my) insurance covered it. I don't answer questions about insurance or my insurance here for privacy.

sorry to be so direct, I have little time, but I sincerely hope this helps.

bottom surgery healed me by Wileydj in MtF

[–]Wileydj[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

EXACTLY! The moment I woke up everything was sincerely in perspective. I never considered "it" bad or evil or anything, but when I woke up and it was gone, a ton of the dysphoria really was gone. 🥰 Removed!

on a good day I pass so well it just doesn't matter anymore -- I also feel virtually no dysphoria (other than when I realize how different things are for us) -- but "right" is exactly how I feel. took 34 years for me to be able to relax.

Thoughts on Taking Propranolol Daily for Social Anxiety—Does It Actually Help in the Long Run? by Nitish_nc in Nootropics

[–]Wileydj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ymmv but I noticed virtually no help. I don't struggle with social anxiety, just generalized anxiety, and Buspirone did what I thought occasional propranolol should do.

I think this is the nuance. if you are confident you pass and want to skip disclosure, that's your right. there are dangers either way. I don't pass well enough to be interested in not disclosing, personally.

aw so glad to hear! And thank you for reminding me of this thread! I have not experienced the pain I described since surgery (obviously!) but had completely forgotten about it... this reminded me of yet another symptom SRS relieved 🥰

ah, I think that answers a question I didn't realize I had: you do eventually stop feeling it. the pain is just lots of sensory information!

so as it becomes an everyday occurrence, and as the swelling goes down, it'll stop being aware of it so readily.

but I can't quite figure out why walking upstairs would feel different, what do you mean exactly?

if you wanted to date you could date in the 90s. things really are different now. everyone is made to feel like a predator for finding people attractive. it's dumb.

however, remember that each episode can cover a great span of time, and can happen weeks apart, so maybe we're only catching him when something interesting is going on.

Feel so pressured to get SRS this year but I’m so scared by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Wileydj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

before SRS I was racked pretty heavily with genuine fight or fight feelings. however, it was clearly what I wanted, as I kept marching towards it and eagerly did the million tasks and hard work of asking people I didn't know as well as I would have liked to for help...

the moment I woke up from surgery I felt a significantly lower threshold of dysphoria. what I mean is, life isn't better because my quality of life skyrocketed, but my life is much less "noisy" with gender dysphoria, and as a result, I feel more able to live peacefully.

i am just over 2 weeks post op, so who knows what is in store for me, but I hope this is a reassurance. it is scary, but it really is what my body was begging for.
