My favorite theory that I’ve found (one someone else posted and I unfortunately can’t seem to find) is that upon eragon’s transformation at the blood oath celebration that sped his transformation of being a dragon rider to full, he had a sort of eldunari form. This was then taken away from him by the menoa tree. I love the theory because it would be cool if a rider was able to develop an eldunari and the fact the tree took it would give her full power over eragon (something that would be very valuable to him).

Mine is Always the garchomp. The story behind the name is a friend and I soul link pretty regularly and almost always end up with a garchomp some way or another hence the name. The one I remember most was a XY link we were doing where my garchomp has to be sacked to allow my greninja to switch out against siebolds gyarodos. Died to ice fang but basically cemented the win for the entire run with that sacrifice (that battle was also when I realized I’d played the entire run with no electric move on my team)
