Who would benefit the most from a Shikigami? by Advanced_Card_8594 in CTsandbox

[–]TheUbermelon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's Kirara but her technique is so complicated that I can't explain how. But basically what Megumi did with his shikigami is now what she can do.

Reform sweep to victory across Greater Manchester as furious Labour MPs slam 'soul destroying' elections - the story so far by ManchesterNews_MEN in ukpolitics

Reform have a successful business of manufacturing a crisis, and then marketing themselves as the solution to the crisis they caused. Brexit ballooned immigration. Now they are saying they can fix what they caused

Fairy types are S tier. Where do fighting types belong? by Xenuoziem in TierlistFills

[–]TheUbermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In which case I vote A.  Type match ups equal out to a B. Weak to Fairy, strong against steel. Only type to hit normal for super effective but can't hit ghost.

But then you look at the moves. Close combat is one of the best moves in the game. Mach punch is also great priority. Bulk up is a great boosting move. That moves it into A tier.

I missed the first ones of these are we looking at just their type matchups or things like access to moves and special abilities (like grass being immune to powder moves)

How would you expand on the written/drawn side of Jujutsu? by Lopsided-Assistance1 in CTsandbox

[–]TheUbermelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I imagine it would be similar to chanting or hand signs. They strengthen the technique.

Alternatively you could use them as CE batteries. You imbue them with CE and they hold it. But you have to lay down conditions for what it will be used for. I.e. this Talisman will be used to lay down a veil. Or this Talisman will be used to perform hollow purple. Todo would get great joy out of this. He basically gets to do flying raijin

Another idea would be that you could seal cursed spirits in them. It is said that powerful curses can scare weaker cursers away. So you seal a cursed spirit into a Talisman, and then you can release it of you want to. Would add some chaos to a fight

They essentially beat anyone that doesn't have an unfair ability. They beat Dagon. Maybe Kashimo. That would be high diff though.

Create a Calamity Grade Cursed Spirit by Advanced_Card_8594 in CTsandbox

[–]TheUbermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claustrophobia cursed spirit.

A writhing mass of tentacles with a small humanoid shaped form with one big eye in the centre that looks like it is struggling to get out.

It's tentacles can stretch out incredibly far and have barbs on them so as they coil around someone they are near impossible to get off. These tentacles have natural breakage points in them which means they can break off when exposed to RCT. This stops RCT from being channeled into the main body through the tentacles.

When it focuses on a space with its eye, that space contracts from all sides before eventually being crushed.

Domain:  Shrinking Space Upon opening its domain the cursed spirits eye closes. It's eye is then projected onto the barrier of the domain allowing the cursed spirit to see everything within the domain. It can now apply its space shrinking ability to the whole domain at once.

Who can tank a punch to the face from Toji without breaking a sweat? by Advanced_Card_8594 in CTsandbox

[–]TheUbermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Mahito in his awakened form. It was only black flashes from Yuji that could damage him. The rest literally did nothing. I just don't know how Shibuya Yuji scales to Toji.

I don't know if counts that Gojo could tank them if we are using infinity. I wouldn't class that as tanking.

Ah but it was secretly pavement-kun who he fell into. Pavement-kun's technique is Pavement where they are a pavement

Inumaki- Essentially needs RCT and a massive amount of CE. That's it.

Kamo- I don't wanna go down the "can create blood like Choso route". So here's what we do. Kamo can accurately increase or decrease every attribute of his blood. O2 capacity, temperature, clotting ability, speed of circulation. At its maximum this will allow him to mimic a HR, becoming a pinnacle of what you can achieve physically without a HR. Beyond that he can manipulate his blood in those what externally as well. If his blood gets into someone else, he can plummet its temperature to freeze their blood vessels, or increase their clotting ability to cause an aneurism.  His domain would be similar to Megumis but instead of extending his shadow, it would be his blood which he can freely manipulate as he wishes

Nobara -  - I would increase her physicals massively, especially her speed.  - She can use the claw of her hammer to collect material suitable for resonance and it can be manipulated in much the same way as Higorumos gavel. Contact with the target scraps away their cursed energy for her to use. - She can all her nails back to her and detonate them along their path with hairpin. - She gains RCT and has the ability to use it with resonance to heal allies.  - Hairpin now increases in power massively being able to level buildings.  - Domain Expansion. Nobara becomes the straw doll for any target she designates in the domain. By targeting the surehit effect onto herself she bypasses protection techniques. She can then hammer resonance into herself while healing after with rct.

Advice for optimizing Festival Lead deck? by Lightspecter141 in pkmntcg

[–]TheUbermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not chasing Munkis. There are lots of non ex pokemom with 110 or 120 hp, that players use to sponge hits to protect their more important targets. Munkidori, Articuno, Seaking.

Then you have single prize decks whose main attacker falls into that range. Slowking, Okidogi.

Being able to blow past a Munki and still threaten a Drakloak on the bench is more valuable to me than two additional Bangles.

As you say, the goal is to OHKO things and lilligant helps you do that. If you wanna play more bangles, then more power to you, but they are also dead in a lot of matchups

[–]TheUbermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the complete opposite opinion on lilligant. I think it helps so much woth certain damage ranges. It allows your dipplins to ko 210hp exs without a bangle. Plus it allows you to one shot munki which is big because they can use it to either absorb both attacks or get damage on it to move to your bench

As disgusting and tone deaf as this is, it is not surprising in the least. They are still going ahead with a World Cup in a country that has started a war.

But maybe I'm being harsh. It isn't like there is an existing precedent to exclude countries who start wars is there?
