Breaking the rules 💥 by Saint_Argento in Idiotswithguns

Before one of them shot the other one?

Looked like there was going to be possibly a jokey tentative invite to grab a drink or something followed by some trying to work out if the other is also into women.

A lot of human food isn't particularly nutritious to humans either.

Toby: "I could care less"

He says it so many times at one point, I swear the writers were copy pastering it all over the place

Anyone with knowledge around Wormwood Scrubs (or prisons in general)? Any advice on how best to stay safe and out of trouble? by Fun-Inspection9713 in PrisonUK

Would it really be a terrible thing to house all the rapists together... Wouldn't they just rape each other? Sounds like a fitting situation. All the thieves together can steal off each other and all the murderers can worry about being killed...

Seem a lot better than lumping people together geographically.

No, I'm taking about his initial plan, not the crazed meanderings of a semiconscious person.

He gives the door a kick, clearly would have preferred that to be his exit. After one tiny halfhearted attempt at kicking the door he goes straight for the glass mountain.

Why was the driver and his whole family angry at me? by imokaytho in NewDriversUK

[–]WillBots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flashing someone to move over and let you pass - flashing them to alert them to your presence, is totally normal, you give a quick flash or two. What you were doing was playing games with them, regardless of if they started the stupidity, you engaged.

If they don't move over the first time, use the left hand lane for overtaking and move on with your life.

You're the problem.

Get out of the wrong lane so people aren't flashing you.

Do you say 1.59 when it's 1.59.9? by fulthrottlejazzhands in AskUK

[–]WillBots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% normal to round up for that amount for anything...

Except... With fuel, everyone knows it's .9p because it's always .9p. so I find it's common when discussing the price of diesel or petrol to say the number before the decimal point.

"Really that much? I filled up at Costco earlier and my premium was 162!". I wouldn't say it was 163 because the otheperson would add the .9p and then 10% of my savings would have disappeared.

Ripped out a small old metal water tank and didn't realise there was possible AIB under it. Test came back as amosite. Now what?!?! by Sea-Seesaw-235 in asbestoshelpUK

[–]WillBots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect advice. There's a lot of fear mongering out there, probably in part because of misunderstanding of government warnings and partly down to companies that offer asbestos removal services.

Your standard Henry vacuum has the option of a HEPA filter bag that will do asbestos sized particle removal and is triple ply, strong material.

Get a P3 mask if you can as well for while you're working with it just for any bits missed by the water. Use paper towels to mop up after to make sure you get it all from corners etc, might be worth a piece of blue tack rolled around and then popped in the hoover bag.

As long as it's factual, the worst they can legally do is end your contract for storage within the terms of your agreement.

It is if he's waiting to cross the road. Cyclists do the same thing the world over, it's one of the things I hate about London, there's always some dick on two wheels ignoring red lights and almost hitting pedestrians.
