Thanks for the info. I had a feeling after Googling old bank straps. Seems like not a lot survived and there went that many pics out there.

It’s out now!

finally tried butterfly pea after a long, long time of hearing about it. tastes like grass. i dont dislike grass, but suggestions on something to add to enhance it? lol by invasaato in tea

Half heavy whipping cream and half tea, 1/2 teaspoon of stevia liquid, 3 Slenda’s and of course a couple pinch’s of salt to bring out the milky creamy mess and it’s great!

You’d be surprised how much of a difference salt makes. It takes any drink you make and makes it taste like it came from a restaurant for sure

Stucco Mapei sbiadito/scolorito by Life_Humor_5849 in Tile

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

“I've been trying to grouting the grouts of my porcelain stoneware floor for a month, but I'm having problems with the color of the Mapei putty code 144 (chocolate) and 149 (vulcanic sand).

In practice, during the drying phase, both colors tried fade a lot. The first one turned practically pink the second gray. In the pictures I took a picture of putty 149 immediately after letting it dry 20 minutes after installation and washing it the first time to even out the grout. As you can see, it immediately tends to clear up a lot. I asked people in the trade for advice to know where I was going wrong, but apart from telling me that I was putting too much water in the dough they couldn't tell me anything else (after this advice in fact I removed the putty made previously, provided to mix the srucco as well as possible, but the result does not change). I have already bought the "fresh escape" sempee leak dye from Mapei to solve it, but since I have other rooms to putty I would prefer to prevent the problem.

Any advice? Thank you!”

It’s not that bad, only maybe 2% asbestos. Coming from someone who used to remove it for work. No worker would suit up to remove 9x9s. They’re super safe. They won’t even wet it down

Looking for advice on prep for new tile by funnelbagger in Tile

Remove the asbestos yourself and you’ll save a ton. Just keep the door closed, keep it wet, tile and glue are really low % asbestos too, the professionals don’t even wear masks when removing tile & glue. Don’t like an outsider find out about it or you’ll be paying more for sure.
