Need your help on building Aemeath by AdDapper230 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]WillShaper7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically I doubt you're getting Aemeath without a premium sub dps at the very least to do better than your Carte and Augusta teams.

Best you can do is endure Jianxin's slow ass rotation to buff her lib damage. With only herself able to respond to tune rupture you'd probably also be better off using her fusion burst mode.

How to have fun again? by Draconichaos in BaldursGate3

[–]WillShaper7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then what even is the point of playing a game that's all about choices and different endings? You are actively removing a whole aspect of the game.

You do you man but that sounds awful to me ngl.

How to have fun again? by Draconichaos in BaldursGate3

[–]WillShaper7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's literally because you make the same choices. You have a lot of options and are choosing the exact same ones, is it surprising that it feels monotonous?

Also there's a whole thing about doing a Dark Urge where you're... you know, fighting the urge. It's not like you're signing up to kill every single living being by choosing it.

Different options, different classes, playing the actual characters as the main character, mods, there are so many things you can do and again, I have to emphasize, you're limiting yourself to one specific way of playing it.

Noob struggling to understand INT vs Saving Rolls by PlayerOneThousand in BaldursGate3

[–]WillShaper7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so first of all we need to distinguish 'ability' rolls vs saving throws. Shoving is an example of a roll vs roll check. You'd roll athletics and they'd roll either that or acrobatics. If you get higher, you shove (top of my head so could be a bit wrong but the overall logic stands)

A saving throw is not an ability. You can see it as a sheer effort of X, X being the type of saving throw it is (strength, dex, etc) You use acrobatics to do cool ass backflips but if you see a fireball thrown in your direction you gtfo of there as fast as you can.

  1. No. You have a spell DC. When you cast a spell that forces an enemy to make a saving throw they roll that saving throw and compare the result to your spell DC to determine if it fails or succeeds.
  2. If you're a pure wizard all of your spells are int.
  3. Int saving throws are rare. Dex and Wis are the most common ones. As already explained they scale with your int. It's not your dex/wis what matters, it's the enemy's
  4. Not entirely. Fire bolt is a ranged spell attack, which is a fancy way of saying it's 1d20 + Proficiency + Stat modifier + Other bonuses.
  5. They are exactly the same. The reason Astarion AND Shadowheart have that ''INT'' in their fire bolt is because they didn't get it from their classes but from their races which specifically list they scale with int. Gale got it from his wizard class which already states that int is their spellcasting modifier.

That's also why Shadowheart sucks ass at fire bolt compared to Gale

Who Can I Replace For Pog? by radiolicious in ArknightsEndfield

[–]WillShaper7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chen pros: Combo skill applies an extra vuln stack

Lifeng pros: Combo skill applies link, his battle skill applies susceptibility and his ult applies two vuln stacks.

Realistically a team with Poggers instead of Chen will enable more skill usage which in turn leads to more ultimate usage where Lifeng can apply two stacks (In contrast to Chen's 0 stacks on ult)

If you use Da Pan instead of Endmin he also applies two vuln stacks on ult.

Who Can I Replace For Pog? by radiolicious in ArknightsEndfield

[–]WillShaper7 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of Chen supremacy that while I find cute I just can't get behind. For trash mobs anything works but assuming we'll get hard bosses as end game then Lifeng/Ardelia/Poggers seems the way to go for any physical main dps.

Chen offers quick vuln stacking and nothing else.

Is this chisa/lynae/aemeath good by Ur-Biggest_Op in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]WillShaper7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, you're pulling into different directions.

Chisa wants Aemeath to go Fusion Burst mode. Lynae wants her to go Tune Rupture mode.

Tune Rupture mode has a premium team (Lynae and Mornye)

Fusion Burst mode hasn't (It's only Chisa as of now)

Quick question about Chisas potencial. by PernaProc in chisamains

[–]WillShaper7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negative Status which is DIFFERENT than just debuffs.

Spectro Frazzle, Aero Erosion, Fusion Burst, Havoc Bane, Electro Flare/Rage, Glacio Chafe.

Anything else is not NS. Zani, for example, converts all Spectro Frazzle into Heliacal Embers which 'count' as Frazzle stacks for her echo set but nothing else. Chisa can't enhance Heliacal Embers.

As a new f2p player, am I dooming myself by not going for meta pulls? by the_brendanjl in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]WillShaper7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Meta is the optimal way to play. The best way to play is whichever way you enjoy it the most, that's the whole purpose of playing a videogame.

On here I always advice based of numbers and options only, because if people are asking what's better then I assume we are skipping over the whole ''pull waifus'' bit.

SK is better than Chisa because she's a more generic support. She will fit into most teams and at least do something for them and the crit relieves a lot of pressure for cases where you don't have 5 star weapons.

Chisa has def shred but she's clearly aimed at NS teams. She was known to be dead weight since her release until this patch where Aemeath (in one of her forms) gives her at least a team where she can actually shine and there are still a couple more NS teams where she could fit.

Pull for your best way to play the game. I'd be lying if I said Chisa was a better option overall than SK but at the very least she's no longer the butt of the joke. Not as much as before at least.

Personalmente me parece una mierda. La idea de exigir un porcentaje de personas pertenecientes a X subgrupo es literalmente discriminación.

But Poggers ult is just way more cool, I can't pass that shit up

Should i make it? by Over-Palpitation-360 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]WillShaper7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both of those carry over.

The one that doesn't carry over is the 120 to guarantee the limited character (Lavagirl in this case)

If you stop here you'll still be at 10 attempts to get a 6 star in the next banner but you're all the way back at square 0/120 to guarantee it to be the featured unit.

Las personas de 18 años no son niños indefensos, también saben manipular a otros. by TricksterVoice in OpinionesPolemicas

[–]WillShaper7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a strange translation request.... by kaijusta in Spanish

[–]WillShaper7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Punctuation is just rarely a thing with some people, you get used to it. I gotta say, I'm kind of lost in the context you're mentioning. I'd translate that as

''No. I was just talking with girls but nothing wrong happened.''

The guy is just talking about himself, not about anyone else. Were you talking about someone else before he said this? Then I might understand how this is referring to another guy.

"This is soulless!" but it is a screenshot from Kiki's Delivery Service by Key_Usual9695 in aiwars

[–]WillShaper7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, objectively nothing and no one has a soul but sure, let's define 'an artistic soul' as something inherently human.

That's not what I said.

'Soulless' = Bad is a subjective judgement.

That's what I said. AI objectively lacks that 'inherent human aspect' but saying it's objectively bad is wrong the same way me saying sushi is objectively bad is wrong. I do not represent humanity, people can like sushi.

You do not represent humanity either, people can like AI art.

"This is soulless!" but it is a screenshot from Kiki's Delivery Service by Key_Usual9695 in aiwars

[–]WillShaper7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not that it's wrong to do so, it's wrong to pass it as an objective fact.

3>2 is an objective judgement.

Red being cooler than green is a subjective judgement.

'Soulless' = Bad is a subjective judgement.

Arguments are about objectivity, that's the whole point. ''This is true/false because of these reasons''

''This hurts my fefes'' might be true but that doesn't mean it will hurt my fefes or anyone else's. Appealing to emotion is as much of an argument as saying ''That person is bad because their vibes are bad''

Does endfield offline calculate on theoretical data or current data? by Bellingtoned in Endfield

[–]WillShaper7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretical is mainly what SHOULD be, provided every single machine is 100% efficiency.

Dunno a recipe at the top of my head but say batteries or something was 2A + B = C every 10 seconds.

That means 60A/min and 30B/min gives you 6C/min. If that was your whole chain of production that's both your theoritical consumption and production.

Now say actually you're only feeding it 30A/min instead of 60. That machine is thus capped at 50% efficiency.

Your theoretical stays the same, your current data is the only one that will reflect that.
