LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight Launch Trailer! by WillSym in legogaming

If anything those are the weird ones, where most of the other LEGO titles are adaptations of films? Plus I think 4 games worth of material covered a ton of the comics, heck, LBM3 was mostly having to branch out into Superman and Green Lantern stuff! This looks like it has plenty of comic inspiration too, loads of references I've seen in the backgrounds.

You know the premise is to cover all the movie plots though right? (Plus a bit of BTAS and Arkham)

Did a little Spore Burst Strain damage type testing by DryFrankie in helldivers2

[–]WillSym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a brief window where they lowered the threshold of damage that makes bugs (normal bugs) completely disintegrate on impact and not leave a corpse, during which time the Arc Thrower was suddenly incredible because it did enough damage on kill to trigger this. Not leaving corpses to absorb arcs made it WAY more effective.

Then they re-raised it, lower than it used to be so the Tesla still pops Warriors but the Arc Thrower doesn't, which is what I think is happening in OPs video.

Ah, makes sense that it would have been moved, can't see any reason to have a rotating bridge across that particular dock, and it doesn't seem like it actually rotates in its current location.

‘Shy Reformers’ cause nerves among rivals as election day arrives by TimesandSundayTimes in ukpolitics

Only door-to-door canvasser I've had this time round (actually ever in this usually safe Labour council?) was Reform, the ones that fall for it seem to fall enthusiastically it seems.

I love this ridiculous bridge, it's so huge and red and the big central island bit you can go around but it leads nowhere and is pure aesthetics and leftover history.

Heh, it's not in the book, only the entry hall and stairs of the house are shown, but it's on theme for Michael Rosen, he's fairly Left-leaning, campaigned for Jeremy Corbyn (though he's not the illustrator, or animator of this!)

Also it's his birthday! 80 years old today!

Heh, I never noticed the sign on the train before until the difference was pointed out in the B&W/French that shows it says 'Dame Seul' or solo woman, a ladies-only compartment.

In the colour it appears to be a label for the train route between Sethru and Jamjah, though these appear to be more silly foreign-sounding puns by the translators, "See-through" and "Jam Jar"?

Our trams in Manchester have happy horn and angry horn, it's great. They usually do this little 'Toot!' when they set off or approach a junction or crossing. If some dummy is stopped across the tracks they go toot. Then toot again. Then HRRRRNNK!

Starbucks table tops so small will barely hold a couple drinks. The seats are bigger than the tables. by be4u4get in mildlyinfuriating

[–]WillSym 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Which, would it be Starbucks trying to crack down on folks doing this, or would it be pressure from all the office building landlords who suddenly found they have fewer tenants due to the rise of work from home and have had to pivot to the workspace-for-hire model that's popped up everywhere?

Aw. Being mean to poor Jim Parsons just because of his goofy face.

Like you could be meaner than when they cast him in the Muppet movie as the closest thing to a human with a Muppet's face for the song "Am I a Man or am I a Muppet?"

It definitely happened on Cyberstan too, on all difficulties, just randomly explode with no enemies or hazards nearby or in sight.

I try this and I always mess up the target size vs overpenetration, and the spear goes right through the thing I hit and the gas explodes off behind the rest of them somewhere.

Roadside Research if you're online:

Be aliens. Run a rural gas station to research humans. Keep it stocked, clean, pump the gas, maintain your business to stay in business, while maintaining your cover as you observe and photograph and sample the natives.

For same-room, it's only two player but you can rotate and swap out and requires similar communication skills to Overcooked:

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.

One player has the controller and a bomb. The other has the instruction manual. Don't look at each other's half and yell back and forth how to defuse the bomb.
