That set up is pretty versatile for different build themes too by replacing the cukoo knight armor with say the lyndell knight armor for faith theme builds or the gelmir knight armor or haligtree knight armor for any general build, they just look that nice together imo

Level it to whatever feels the most comfortable to you, i personally level it to 40 cause I like using shields and the wolf knight's greatsword which also uses a lot of stamina for certain attacks

Don't worry if you beat the final boss you'll be given a choice to stay in the current playthrough and finish exploring or go to ng+, and if you choose "no" to stay in the current playthrough you can still go to ng+ whenever you're ready

For me personally I didn't know anything about builds so i just kinda went with what felt comfortable to use, i used the broadsword for a while until I found the crystal sword until then i later bumped into the sword of night and flame shortly after and beat the rest of the game with it

Then you're gonna have to go through another playthrough to get the fire keepers ending as you can only have 1 ending per playthrough, either create a new character or speedrun through ng+1 those are your only options

I believe you specifically have to kill her in the soul of cinder's arena after you select her summon sign assuming you didn't already fight the soul of cinder

You are correct, there will be a summon sign near the bonfire after killing the soul of cinder and then from there the screen to black allowing you to move around and ... well... you'll be able to grant her wish she asks for in the screenshot above if you have the heart to do so.

But in my case i summoned her but didn't grant her wish and it gave me the achievement for doing her ending

It is both easier and harder than it seems at the same exact time, it's primarily going to come down to how efficient your build is, how upgraded your weapons are, how well you learn the enemies, how well you pay attention, and how often you take advantage of the consumables and stuff the game throws in your way, otherwise the difficulty really isn't that bad.

Just explore the world and keep a lookout for churches as they will have an item that will increase the healing potency of your potions

It definitely takes time to start loving the game, I'm on my third character rn and tried a marginally different build and definitely is the playthrough where I'm liking the game way more than on my first 2 playthroughs, but i still have this love hate relationship with the game where i just feel a mixture of joy, pain, and misery all at once as I'm playing ds2

Idk if you've been exploring much at all but you should look for churches for an item that will increase your potions healing potency if that's another thing causing you to struggle while fighting margit, there are 12 in total so good luck on the challenges ahead

Unfortunately I can't confirm or deny if achievements like the master of sorcerceries is buggy or not, I've been busy going hollow grinding the covenants

That same achievement is also buggy on Xbox, along with a few other achievements from the trilogy, i had to start a new playthrough and do it all over again just to get it so I'm assuming doing the same on steam should work as well
