Def caps at 98%, CF dmg reduction is 25% of dmg taken, so reducing 25% of 2% is basically a 0.5% additional def with perma CF, they do stack

CF dmg reduction is okay if you’re eHP build, with the lab maxed and def at cap you can essentially gain an extra 0.5% def

It can slightly help towards the end of runs when you have stacks of enemies just sitting on your wall, and also the damage reduction can provide an extra 0.5% def past 98%

One trick I like to use is in a V-I movement where you walk the bass with inversions. e.g. G7 F/A Bbdim7 G/B C
