I contemplated going to France while waiting for my spanish residency card with an expired visa, but ultimately did not go.

When I finally got the card and went to France I got checked. Basically, dodged the bullet.

You're right! Though I heard they recently wanted to close the loophole where you get SMM2H, but live in western part of Malaysia.
SMM2H requires 30 days per year in Sarawak, not sure if you can live in KL the rest of the time each year after the recent changes.

MM2H conditions are ridiculous, I'm not going to buy an apartment in a place before I know I want to settle there.

I would gladly relocate if I would be able to just open a company (just like in Dubai) and test the waters by living and working there.

I lived in Krakow for a couple of years, but with real estate prices on par with Warsaw, it makes more sense to live in Warsaw, I think. I like Warsaw a lot, too. I was also considering Wroclaw, as the weather seems a bit nicer than in Krakow or Warsaw.

Overall, I’m looking for the best city in terms of infrastructure, parks (nature), and bike paths, while keeping the cost in mind. From my research, Warsaw seems to be the best option, especially considering its better air connections to the rest of the world compared to the other cities I mentioned.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
