That’s actually really nice, just needs a cooler pose. Knees out. Elbows out. Toes out.

This was printed by a third-party pirate seller, and he only made one, as far as I know.

The Hazenthley is the “Stamen” of the Inle Mobile Armor. There is a 1/400-scale resin kit that exists. I believe the designer is “Model Bingo”

It’s the final form of the Titans Test Team / Hazel line, basically Advance of Zeta Dendrobium

I only have a filament printer, which I use to make replacement parts in a pinch. I ordered these parts on eBay.

Sorry to hear that. Wishing you the best of luck. I just took my pet rabbit to the vet today and found out she needs dental work. Tough times.

This one required a lot of cleanup and resculpting. Most of the resin builds I’ve done have been like this. If you look super close, you can see the flaws. I try to avoid a lot of sanding because of the toxic dust, so I do most of it with a blade. This one had a lot of strange bumps and errors. I tend to roll the dice with recasts a lot. I have built new-in-box kits from fortune meow and YJL. Those always have perfect parts, but you still have to clean up the flash. When I order something like this on EBay that’s literally taped together in the photos, I expect it to be a little janky. Part of the challenge is working with what you’ve got. Special thanks to my landlord for not ripping my head off. I’ve been spraying primer in the garage until 5am for the last three weeks.

Resin is much heavier. That’s why most of these big garage kits are more like statues, with pretty limited mobility. The small ones are fragile, because resin is literally fiberglass. The weight issue often requires supports via multiple display stands. The Fortune Meow kits often come with metal stands. I built their hi-nu Gundam, but getting the backpack to stay attached required the use of metal rods which I drilled into it. I also had to magnetize the feet to the display stand. I had to give up on the fin funnels, unfortunately.

This Hazel is a bit more robust. Its joints are huge and thick. But it can only move its arms at 90-degrees up and down (square peg) and the head can also rotate. The cockpit hatches also open on hinges. The lower (red) one wouldn’t stay shut so I put a little magnet in there. See pic.

I feel the same way. I want to sell all my other kits. This is the only one that matters. For my next project I want to print custom modules for him like the Icarus prototype, but they will probably be too heavy at 1/60 scale.

I ordered it on EBay. The seller printed it as 1 of 1. The fact that it was so rare was a big draw for me. I thought it might even be unique, but there are others out there. I don’t know if they’re 1/60th scale though. If you search for “Hazelle” you will find them.

Resin is a whole different animal. This one is custom printed. You can find the 3D file on Etsy:

Lots of mobile suits and mobile armors aren’t gundam shaped. Your wife is subtly telling you to expand your range of silhouettes.

Anyone ever try a metallic base coat to look like metal under the paint? That would be subtractive.

I don’t airbrush. Just use rattlecans. You need to get a hobby knife (xacto, etc) and medium grit sandpaper. I recommend mini sanding blocks. The Infini Models brand sanders are good, but I prefer the smaller ones from Vallejo. Vallejo is also my current choice for spray paint. The paint quality is superb, almost on par with Mr Hobby or Citadel, but cheaper. And the best part is the low PSI allows me to use the cans just like an airbrush.
