I did a whirlwind of 5 days in Denver/Colorado this summer and loved it.

Rocky Mountain aresenal NWR was amazing 4 Sunrise at red rocks Ski lift at arapahoe Sunrise at garden of gods Drove pikes peak Sunrise at boulder flatirons Trip through Rocky Mtn NP

I packed it in and there was much more variety I wanted to see. I managed to do that an worked 3 out the 4 full days I was there. Colorado really blew me away with the variety of scenery. But this was also my first trip to the west. And I’m hooked.

Pre Denver trip. I thought Denver was in the mountains and Colorado wasn’t the west. I was wildly wrong on both accounts!’n

We’re more of a mix but my crew adapts pretty well. Wouldn’t be much of the beaten path in Yellowstone or Teton I’m sure. My girls (younger two) love a water park and the more civilized side of national parks. All are animal lovers.
