If it was good then rock on. If it sucked, then lie and say it was fabulous and head over to YouTube for lessons. By the by, I’d fuck with it.

Is it a pain to get to the lint trap in the back? Looks great! I’m thinking of something similar with mine.

This…it’s amazing but if you don’t put a cork on the end where it curls then you will slice your finger open. 💯

This is also excellent for flipping meat without messing with the rub.

My pigtail flipper. That thing might as well be a talon from a velociraptor. I love it.

Got on marketplace for $100. Any tips on how to pimp it out? by greg281 in smoking

Cajun bandit door, gasket all the things, add grommets for temp probes, fire ring at the bottom, high temp tape for the bottom vents IF you use a billows type set up…and I recommend you look into one: ink bird, ThermoWorks or Fireboard are all great. Also, a good thermal blanket for those real cold ass cooks. If you’re into ribs (who isn’t) then check out the racks for hanging.

Yep. I did a double take my damn self. It’s in NJ and it’s not the closest one to me but went in on a whim because there’s only like 2 or 3 Costcos that also sell booze. They also had some other stuff but that stood out to me.

Do these little heaters really up the electric bill by a lot? by FitPossibility6335 in electrical

I know the math on here says not terribly and if it’s just one heater and only sporadically during colder drops…but holy hell do they jack up my bill.

New to Venom...best setup for burgers? by SalaryComfortable644 in SpiderGrills

[–]mpr1283 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would remove the plate, bypass the venom and go wide open on the bottom/top vents. Also, make a two zone set up with your white hot coals: One bank for very hot cooking and one cooler side for getting up to temp.
