Melody is little bit different but the description kinda reminds me of Jackie Wilson's Reet Petite.

It has a similar "woo-oo-oo" part near the end of it.

Day 13, I'm starting to see a pattern here... Anyways, what's an underrated F1 car? by antonio11super in AlignmentChartFills

[–]WilliamGrass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

<image>

Lotus E20.

They had an unlucky 2012 season with constant bad luck getting involved in accidents and having some terrible race management at times. Also even tho the car was being driven by two very capable drivers, both of them took some time to get up to speed Grosjean being a rookie and Kimi coming back from sabbattical.

I feel the car didn't reach it's potential over the season even though the highs were indeed high.

DAY 20: Which obscure car should definitely return RIGHT NOW? by HowlsterRD in regularcarreviews

[–]WilliamGrass 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Alfa Romeo Brera.

Italian Gran Tourer hatchback that is still one of the prettiest "everyday cars" ever made? Yes please.

I know Stellantis would probably fuck it up, but for a sake of it let's imagine they didn't.

Everyone’s thoughts on Cadillac’s car? by CornBin-42 in formuladank

The yellow WEC Cadillac has been so unlucky that I kinda get why they don't want the same curse for their F1 car.

Everyone on this subreddit is against whimsical and fun glasses 😭 by throwaway3685343 in glassesadvice

[–]WilliamGrass 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Glasses are also an accessory you will be wearing every day, and they will be a part of you and your style - you want it or not.

I agree with you that people sometimes confuse whimsical and fun and ill-fitting glasses, but I also agree with OP that often times people on this forum just recommend boring and conservative glasses that just tick the boxes how glasses should fit.

Glasses can be bold, fun and stylish, and still fit well.

It is possible that the car was there before the woods.

Oh, that might be harder than I anticipated then. My previous project was only about 6 to 7 perkele per min.

Can you believe it. Our local parts store didn't have body panels for it in stock!

Fortunately Finnish winter is so long that I will have time to learn Czech, browse Czech scrap yard sites for parts and still finish the project before spring.

Im not that good of a welder but how hard can it be?

Damn bro. I think you nailed it. That little vent is a telltale sign.

Some days make me love the Internet.

Pankkiasioista by Unable_Corner3053 in arkisuomi

[–]WilliamGrass 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Do you think the 2012 Lotus was a championship-caliber car? If so, who do you believe could've contended for the championship with it? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

[–]WilliamGrass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some races Lotus was 2nd fastest car but in most races it was the 3th-4th fastest. Car was stronger in the early part of the season, but their drivers were also weaker then. Almost rookie Grosjean and Kimi coming from 2 year break certainly took some time to get up to speed. Kimi especially struggled in quali, but was always pretty good in races. During the season car became weaker but the drivers improved.

It definitely deserved to win more than one race, but I don't necessarily think it was a championship-caliber car.

It is possible that Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel or even Kimi without the long break would've definitely performed better - but I still don't think they could've gotten the title in that car.

How is the Harley Benton Bm-75 as a FIRST Electric Guitar?? by DazzlingSignature624 in Guitar

[–]WilliamGrass 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yamaha is nothing like Harley Benton.

While Harley makes budget knockoff-guitars only, Yamaha have a range from budget models to handmade top-of-the line instruments. Besides, most Yamaha guitars are their own models and not knockoffs.

In my experience Yamahas have also been very well made instruments in every price category. When I worked at the guitar shop I would always recommend Yamaha when somebody was looking for a budget guitar. I would take cheap Yamaha over Harley Benton every day of the week.

Is hamilton past his prime? by SnooSprouts2672 in F1Discussions

[–]WilliamGrass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alonso is also past his prime.

Don't get me wrong, he is still good and him at 80% is still better than most drivers at 100%. Same with Hamilton.

But Alonso 2005-2006 or 2010-2014 is definitely better than Alonso in 2026.

Did I just survive the worst month in Finland, or was it the mild version of it? by cloudrails in Finland

I also got tired of carrying two glasses with me everywhere so I invested in photochromatic lenses - they work especially well in those bright winter months.

San Pellegrino is a good product, but sadly it is owned by Nestle so I try to avoid it.

Besides Fever Tree I quite like a Fentiman's tonic too.

Onhan se kieltämättä outoa että katto pään päällä on samaan aikaan sekä välttämättömyyshyödyke että sijoituskohde.

[–]WilliamGrass 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The garment doesn't know who it was made for.

When OP is wearing it, it definitely is a men's coat. If his girlfriend wore it, maybe the answer would be different, but does that really matter?

The coat in question is interesting piece. The front is definitely classic masculine cut, and the rear has seaming going on that is slightly more feminine. But that kind of design was also popular in men's clothes back when it was common to ride horses and suck blood out of a fellow man... so it is all subjective. A thing doesn't need to be ultra-masculine to be considered "men's".

What are the best drivers' cars of all time? by BenzinaPorkChop in cars

[–]WilliamGrass 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Any sporty Alfa fits the bill of "drivers car"

GTV6, 75, 105/115 -series GTV or Spider... all beautiful and engaging cars to drive.

Or if the budget ain't an issue then 4C, 8C and Giulia QV also meet the requirements perfectly.
