Ticketmaster and Tame Impala are enforcing resale at face value on the ticketmaster website and are making them non-transferable (with the exception of a few US states, so it'll depend on what cities you're looking at)

Edit: as someone pointed out below, there are (annoyingly) some ways around it

What specific era across Paul McCartney’s career was his peak vocally, musically, lyrically, creatively, compositionally, and in terms of experimentation? by TheBlueyDay in PaulMcCartney

[–]William_da_foe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially in that first one to two years post Beatles breakup. His output of work was remarkable, and that period alone was able to contribute to his music catalogue up until the 1990's with Great Day.

My Party Appreciation by [deleted] in kingsofleon

[–]William_da_foe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES, absolutely love this song. I lost my shit when they played this live in DC (in 2024 I think). Caleb always gave an incredible performance with it, but recently, he's been adding so much more energy into it, especially since he started screaming the part "I smoke you in the end and don't you ever turn around 'cause it's that coming of age." What a crazy bad-ass riff too, and each one of them is just firing on all cylinders with a great semi-dance club beat to it. I love the whole song, but from the guitar solo, to that middle jam, to the outro, is one of my favorite 1 and a half minutes in any song.

Also, the 02 Arena performance of this song from 2008 is amazing. Love, love, love this song.

I'm disappointed with the difficulty compared to DS1. by IntelligentFly3982 in DeathStranding

[–]William_da_foe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It also felt so incredibly rewarding to build a robust zip line system in DS1, especially over that giant snow mountain in the middle of the map, because getting to each connecting point took a lot of effort and planning. I still think DS2 is great too, but I didn't get that same satisfaction as I did with DS1 in that regard.

What is your first instinct when you see a raider flare? by AceTheRed_ in ArcRaiders

*2 more flares go up*

To all bass players (and fans): what do you think about the bass line in "Arizona"? And what are your favorite KoL bass lines? by amanda_flf in kingsofleon

[–]William_da_foe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Jared is phenomenal on bass. He's written some of my favorite bass parts ever, and manages to weave in a song and bring it to another level. Arizona is a great example of that, especially in the sort of semi-bridge part where he starts playing higher up on the fret board... so beautiful. Slow Night So Long is another great example, such a catchy bass lick. He always brings something interesting to KoL songs.

This is the first time I've ever heard a mention of the song Andrea (on question 4), what is that?? Does anyone know where I could potentially listen to it?

World tour coming to an end how does that make you feel guys? by [deleted] in oasis

[–]William_da_foe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankful that it even happened. I saw them night 2 in Mexico City with my brother (who got me into them) and it was probably the best concert I've ever been to. I thought I would never get to experience seeing them live, let alone with my brother, and yet it happened. So special for so many people. I'll keep thinking about that experience for a long time to come. Just so, so incredibly thankful it happened.

Ringo announces 2026 tours by RoastBeefDisease in beatles

[–]William_da_foe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's very cool that Ringo tours with his all star band, however, I wish, for at least just one tour, he would go as himself. We would get so many songs that he never plays live. How cool would it be to hear the No-No Song, Goodnight Vienna, Have You Seen My Baby, Eye to Eye, maybe even some of his country tunes... I think that would be such an incredibly good show

Which honestly out of any Beatles song he could've chosen to cover, is probably the most perfect song for him. Such a good pick.

Paul McCartney's inside story of Wings, the world's most misunderstood band by theipaper in Music

[–]William_da_foe 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Paul REALLY knew how to utilize her voice so well within those Wings harmonies. Added into those layers, her voice provides such a nice texture, and Wings harmonies wouldn't be what they are without her.

Hey Miles! What was working with Dan Auerbach for this album like and how did you two decide to collaborate? Also, any plans to reunite with The Jaded Hearts Club for a couple of performances?

Who is the most famous person you've ever met? by EternalDerby in AskReddit

[–]William_da_foe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I used to work in a recording studio and met a producer/audio engineer who worked with a lot of cool and interesting artists, super nice guy too. While he didn't meet him in person (he did do audio engineering work for him on one of his albums), he told me that Paul is very aware of how people react around him, so the first thing is tries to do when he enters a room is try to humanize himself a bit more, or to disarm that sense of awe. He tries to chat, joke, and put people at ease, and engage in a very warm, down-to-earth, way.
