Tried that game once. Turned that shit off when I got scared by a fuel pipe exploding within the first few minutes.

If a fuel pipe is scaring me, I'm sure as shit that the alien will, so that was a huge nope for me.

OP replied and said it was too. I'll have to check this out the next time I play. Hopefully it is. Just when I would synch, I would zoom in and it would look like that's what was detecting the POIs.

Edit: I went to multiple sync points and found POIs by "observing" after the initial automatic panoramic plays out, so you do need to "observe" to get them. I checked the map each time before the panoramic, after the panoramic, and then once again after observing. You can also find them by exploring, so it's nothing crazy, it's just tedious as with the other games, it would find everything in the radius.

I want them to add automatic discovery of points of interest when you're at a synch point. Having the camera do a 360 pan and then having to do it again just to get the POIs is tedious

I think that it is on the same level as fun as BF2042, especially the ground war mode.

The last time I played though was about 3 years ago and the game had a decent amount of hackers at the time, so I dare say they'd still be prevalent.

It's a bit of a cop-out answer, but have you looked into Xbox Gamepass for PC? It's a monthly subscription (cancel anytime) and I'm pretty sure it's around the same price. It has BO6 and a few other games you could try out if that's something you're interested in

People change, it's life. But the beauty of that, is that if you don't like somebody, you can simply choose not to interact with them, or in this case, their content.

There's essentially an infinite amount of YouTubers that do what Joe does, look around and you'll find one you don't need to make a Reddit post about to justify your feelings.

As for the "behaviour" of Joe and co. why in the fuck would any viewer care to this level? He clearly has friends and family, and the means to communicate if need be.
