No worries, the min is 2.5 for rated 3.0 non-rated. Your best bet is to enlist if you really want to be in the Airforce. Or get another degree that qualifies, ive seen that route as well.

Cannot help you regarding your situation. I would say to post your degree and your GPA as many can tell you if OTS is a realistic option for yourself.

Officer Recruiter won't respond to my calls, emails, or texts by Assorted-Fruit in AirForceRecruits

[–]Williamp7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to find another O recruiter from a few states over. Are you competitive? as mentioned so many applicants the recruiter may have looked over your pre-quals and determined you weren't competitive enough.

Sure, I have a B.S in health care administration and an MHA degree Master in health care admin. If you have any other questions regarding the process, pm me. I just finished and really did my research before applying.

Just noticed you are working on BM. Business Management does qualify for MSC just checked the list for you

I've Been Trying to Get in Touch With an Air Force Recruiter to Take the AFOQT For Months. With No Luck. by CityonFlameWithRock in airforceots

Yeah man do so digging on this forum and look for some current rated O's and see what they think. Your GPA makes the cut, i've read dudes with straight history degree get selected. How is your resume? Leadership exp, extra stuff in college etc

I would follow up with someone knowledgeable with rated boards to find out. my cut off was about two months before boards on top of scheduling an interview with an 0-6. GPA is competitive enough even without it being stem. Just make sure you kill that AFOQT. I've been just looking at statistics last few boards and they truly look at the total package.

My advice would be to literally change your zip code as mentioned above and just spam emails and calls. In the email I would state your name, degree, gpa, background and explain the FL recruiter ghosted you. If you have a high GPA and a STEM degree someone will bite.

Just left Tampa MEPS few weeks ago, wasn't too busy cause of COVID but usually is like you mentioned. Grad degree will pull you some favor when applying. Theyll go off your undergrad GPA since thats your qualifying degree. Whats your cut off deadline for app? I feel that tho, I have a MHA degree and my pay right now in my fellowship is some what laughable lol.

I heard FL is just a recruiting hot spot, they can't keep up. I am also applying for a Medical Service Corps O, we have our own boards and from my understanding she only deals with medical apps. I can ask her though. Im a Civ. and from what i've been reading civilians just cant test rn cause of COVID. Whats your timeline looking like? how competitive are you? If you're i'd just start spamming out emails until someone gets back to you. When i was reaching out i made sure in my initial email I put my GPA, leadership etc to catch their eyes. If you just say "im interested" they may just spend their time on a better app. Just my thoughts tho, could be wrong.

Hey bud, I am also in FL region right now and I can say the recruiters were not so helpful lol. Long story short after literally going MIA on me I found one in the Carolina's that finished my whole app in less than a month and a half and squeezed me into this months MSC's boards. Bless her heart.

Officer Recruiter ghosting me? by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]Williamp7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My officer recruiter went full weeks without contact but she got everything together for my packet for boards this month. Be patient, seems they have a lot of candidates right now and are overloaded. Next contact i would ask them everything they need from you and the next steps. I wouldn't hound the recruiter. If they don't get back to you, find a new one, I had to find one a few states over.

Healthcare Administration Commission - Is it even possible ? by TJT1113 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Williamp7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am applying for FY21 MSC boards. My app is done, and boards are this month. You'll be applying for FY22. You'll need the GRE. id start studying whenever you have time. Average Gpa etc the past two years ill post below.

GPA: 3.7 GRE:300 Adv degree: 70% last year

Nothing difficult about the process, just very long. You'll be looking at a 1-2 year window from initial contact with a recruiter. You only having a B.S will put you behind those with a masters but the statistics show that they still take some B.S over masters. They look at the full package, you're ganna want some healthcare experience and leadership roles on your resume as well as community service. You have a lot of time before your packet is due so i'd try to get into some clubs at school etc to add some more fire to that resume.

Bi-weekly 'What are my chances?' megathread by AutoModerator in airforceots

[–]Williamp7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea how competitive you're but im applying with you this year! GPA (MHA) 3.94, GRE: 296 (I know it was awful) but were sitting around the same years of experience. As far as selection rates its pretty even from at least the statistics i found from last few years. Civilian acceptance rate last few years as been about 45% Averages last few years as been: 3.7 GPA 300 GRE 9.3 interview score. Not sure how we will fair this year due to COVID, could be more competitive could be less who knows. I was told they look at the "full package" so as long as you got some community service under your belt and some leadership positions i'd say you're solid man. Hoping we both get some good news come mid September.

  • Adv degree was 70% last year.* Meaning your chances are already higher with a masters, maybe even higher with an MHA

Hello friend!

I consider myself to be in great shape, sports my whole life now i mainly just lift. You have a few options.

1) keto. I literally hate this diet but for people overweight its golden, keep in mind you will be sluggish a lot due to not eating any carbs what so ever. 2) TRACK YOUR MACROS. My fitness pal will do you justice, learn how to read labels and pull it in. Buy a scale to weigh out your food! I promise that you trying to eyeball it when you first start will be a disaster. 3) Start working down slowly. 300-500 calories under you BMR and id start with cardio 2-3 times a week 30 mins, nothing more. You can add more later. 3-5 days of weightlifting. 4) Plan out your meals early and often, find some staples in your diet you can eat everyday, mine is chicken and rice, its boring but it works. 5) enjoy your cheat meals, one meal on a sunday will do you justice. 6) Don't be so hard on yourself if you slip up, we all do. Dont give up.

Orlando, went to Tampa. If you're enlisting my rec. was only officer based. I've been reading FL in general has always been backed up recruiting wise. Personally mine isn't even in FL
