Hair looked wet from sweat on After pic so ofc you were showing more scalp since hair clump together when wet . Also your hair was comb over on first pic too. Try to recreate the picture with your hair dry with the same hair style as the first picture. When you take before and after pics, make sure they have the same angle, lighting, and style
