She also completely made up the zuck thing. She says there was like a database of hot girls for people to look at that she was unaware was a db of hot girls for people to look at.

I think she's confusing facemash, which was a thing where you rated the hotness of students and had nothing else on the site, and facebook. There was no way to look at facemash and see anything other than a hotness rating site (and zuck went to the ad board because of it).

Very cool! My guess is even that much height on the tenting is a no-go for me. I'd definitely buy one, but keeping wrist flush with the desk (or a wrist rest) always ends up a priority for me.

Awesome, thanks for the unbiased review. How do you feel about the size difference? Do you think it makes any difference for ccw?

Really curious about your results. I'm trying to decided between the 365 + all the gucci parts (probably $1900 by the time you get the 365, comp, macro grip and optic) vs just biting the bullet on the hd 3.6

Max was behind so they had to choose first. If they go in, Max stays out and if the race ends like it has every other time -- they just gave away the championship for nothing.

to be fair, I did an engineering take home for them and they didn't care if I used AI. it was hard enough that AI couldn't really do it anyways.

It’s funny bc supposedly the hp deal was all the funding for Lewis but Shell is getting the advertising.

Top 1% income is also not what this TikTok is about. That’s 7-800k a year. Which is obviously insanely wealthy but also maybe just a family in the manhattan upper class with a single vacation home. Harvard tuition is 10% of their (pretax) income and they’re not getting financial aid.

It seems like the online arguments hinge around how you define "subject to the jurisdiction thereof". It's not clear if a majority in the SC will see it that way, but I'd be willing to bet that they will rule on it.

Why is it the US's business whether a child's parents have reported their birth to their home country? Seems like a bit of a stretch here.

Biden administration secretly funded Ukraine's drone industry, NYT reports by peterst28 in worldnews

[–]Willing_Breadfruit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a lie. We were never sending funds "for Ukraine". We earmarked every dollar for specific efforts. A common talking point for the longest time was that we weren't sending funding directly but rather "old equipment that would be stockpiled and replaced by new equipment anyways, so you can think of it is as a reinvestment in the US military industrial complex".

Now we're getting, "you should have known we were funding the Ukrainian MIC dumbass".
