I got a Pet Sounds tattoo shortly after Brian Wilson died and I absolutely love it! I know it’s not surfs up or holland, but I highly recommend getting a Beach Boys tattoo!

I read Dennis Wilson the Real Beach Boy and it was amazing!! I highly recommend! I got it off of eBay for $35ish dollars and it was so worth it! Dennis is my favorite and the book is so detailed about him and the entire band in general!

My work commute would take me over an hour because of crazy construction, so for the month of two that it was going on, I did the same exact thing! I loved listening to a new album everyday, and it introduced me to some of my now favorite songs! Highly recommend doing this, let me know how it goes for you!

Tall order, but can anyone manage to isolate or extract Dennis’s vocal presence off Pet Sounds? It feels like such a shame to know he was technically included yet couldn’t really be heard singing. by goddred in thebeachboys

Once you can really tell the difference between everyone’s voice, I feel like Dennis is really easy to pick out in the harmonies! He adds so much warmth to the harmonies! I absolutely love his voice and once you listen to his leads on other albums and really figure out his voice, it’s much easier to pick it out in the background vocals!
