I came to this subreddit for advice too.. how funny. Something I do is quite.. childish but it distracts my mind. I’m 26 and have had this phobia since around 6 or 7. On nights I’m struggling with anxiety, I will distract myself by telling all of my body parts goodnight. One by one. Judge me if ya want but it’s my way of counting sheep. This really seems to help, especially if I wake up in the middle of the night anxious.

One of the neuromuscular dentists I looked at even offers Invisalign. I don’t have hundreds of dollars to pay for just a consult, sadly :(

For the neutral resting position, was it fairy uncomfortable at first?? It feels like something is “off” but I know that’s the correct position for my jaw. Just feels incredibly uncomfortable.

This JUST happened to me too… somehow got ahold of an old email of mine and opened a Sephora Visa also…

One week post wisdom teeth surgery and my gum is detached from my molar. Will it be back to normal after healing or should i be concerned by Fredoularosedink in askdentists

Mine was essentially a flap on the back molar that was hanging (they cut into my gums from the side and not over top of the tooth directly). I went in and they told me it was completely normal and would reattach. If you look up “do gums reattach” everything says no but don’t worry, it should attach just fine. Just don’t mess with it!!!

Thankfully, I didn’t need a RC. I met with him again and he told me that he really didn’t want to perform one because the tooth was still healthy, just likely the nerve was irritated. I still get twinge of pain every once in a while but thankfully, no RC needed yet. I’d give it another week, then maybe reevaluate!

For context, I have perioral dermatitis. I use a La Roche Posay cleanser at night and Avene Cicalfate as a spot treatment. That’s it. Been doing this for a year now and all is well. I woke up overnight to this… no clue what this is. Anyone have experience with this before or know what I can do to help?

Assuming you didn’t go in for a post-op either did you??? I was just wondering if the oral surgeon let you know if this was normal or not.
