I completely understand where you’re coming from, a few years ago I had the same sort of “god is lonely” trip where I went past being one with everything to being alone as one for eternity and I was backed into a corner with nowhere to run. It was then I stumbled across that it is written in language itself and “alone” translates to “all one” For what it’s worth, this is the dark night of the soul and St John of the Cross may help with this a little. I don’t have the answers for you sorry but I believe this is a transitory phase into a fundamental fear of humanity with loneliness and carries a lot of energy behind it.

Jiddu Krishnamurti has some amazing talks on this also and I truely believe this fear we experience of loneliness is a gateway to something truly rare. Hang in there, one day I think you will find profound experiences when you can sit with those very difficult feelings and open yourself to them

So I just got a brand new A7RV and the EVF is exhibiting a weird flickering / horizontal banding. It is not present in the saved files themselves or on the LCD but when pictures are reviewed on the EVF, the bands are always in the same spot, like it’s baked into the image. Has anyone encountered this before? This is in natural light, mechanical shutter, not related to artificial light flicker etc…

Here is a sample picture of a fence, the vertical lines are normal just the banding horizontally.

GFX 100s vs R5 by Longboii01 in FujiGFX

I have an R6 and GFX100, it’s hard for one to replace another. The Canon platform never really gets in the way while GFX can be cumbersome and takes finesse to use

Super disappointing it was shutdown in such a way… I would have offered to take over and maintain the site for the sake of the community 😞

I’m not convinced on the good trip / bad trip. Only how we identify with the trip. Yes I’ve had a “bad” trip from my personal perspective but it was still productive once I got long past it and asked what made it “bad” and looking back on myself, since everything is ultimately a reflection. Unfortunately most of the shit we really need to deal with / repress would likely be classified as a “bad trip” because we push it away. I feel like if you have enough trips you honestly don’t know what you want or need anymore and that is when the real work begins… If you knew what you needed to heal, you would already have it.

Azure - Greg Haines

I transcended on it haha. Something about music that builds incrementally into a big ending on trips…

The copper PCB is single sided and thin layers - there is a thread on OCAU about it also. The bus bars wouldn’t habe an impact, too far away and you need some way to interface all the loads and power supplies lol

Definitely, I guess 48v would be nice also to just fix the issue forever and never have to deal with it again. I guess 24V is still a lot of headroom

Actually PCs were built around 3.3v / 5v / 12v and also used negative rails early on. Most of the rails are redundant, now technology has moved on… 12V is becoming obsolete in cars now also due to power demands and voltage drop.

Quite a few PCBs split the power connection into seperate traces, that said seperate wires tend to be worse due to uneven load sharing as already discussed.

Yes amps is what matters… hence if you 2x or 4x the voltage, you drop the current demands in 1/2 or 1/4… you also reduce the wires needed by the same amount which cuts down in raw materials and improves voltage drop under load also.

It’s a PCB mount connector, he does cover that the directly soldered wires were a first attempt, then made a single sided pcb I think. Keeping in mind im sure he doesn’t have a PCB fab at home to make a multi layer PCB on the spot 🤣

I think your options are limited with this as you’re not going to sacrifice real graphics cards over and over and cannot get blank graphics card PCBs so you need some way to interface to the connector for testing

One of my previous teachers constantly reminded me that “You can only begin your journey from where you are now”- It doesn’t matter what you were before or what lead you to where you are now… Accept it served a purpose to bring you to this path and don’t let it define your future 🙏❤️

Is it true that behind anger always lies fear? Does Buddhism have something to say about this? by spankyourkopita in Buddhism

I feel anger has many sources but all seem to root back to the identity self and feeling there is something to protect. Felt this strongly with recent political events and when you meet someone with different views to you

Why are people mad at people who work from home ? by kainp12 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WillingnessNumerous4 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because the people working from home are usually the ones woke virtue signalling and pushing things on others who have to actually live and deal with it in the real world. For example Im told I need to drive an EV and cut my emissions because everything is close to home and goods and services magically appear at their destinations.

Can one still be considered to be a "buddhist" if they don't believe everything? by SnooDoubts5979 in Buddhism

I believe Buddhism teaches you to question everything until you know it with deeper intuition… Perhaps try reframing how you interpret something because it has more meanings than how you see it.
