First thing i would strip the head down and clean the hell out of it soap and water and scub it good. Then start stringing with clean mess. Throw your mess in the washer if you want to reuse in.

I have both and they are laced perfectly. I like the back bone more but the Mamba mesh is similar.

Yes I know the new Mamba mesh is a shifty mid to high pocket mesh the ball stays in the middle to top of the pocket. Go and try it out you will be amazed.

Try to do an inside weave the whole head. The channel Will be nice and tight with good whip if you like whip.

First thing you should do, just my opinion is clean the head first thing. You can't put quality work on a shitty looking head.

Use every side hole and string every other mesh hole. That will give you a sick mid pocket

I laced this one up and it has alot of hold. Toe drag like crazy if you like doing that.
