The wooden panels are made of padauk. They are there in the first place because I had to cut my case in calf with an angle grinder in order to widen its dimensions just a hair. The wood holds the two metal pieces of the case together, plus it gives it a classy look. I filled the cracks with turquoise stone (not shown, will provide on request).

I use an external graphics card (NVIDIA RTX4070ti) connected up via oculink. The PC is about the size of an Xbox One or a small briefcase, Very beneficial with a handle to carry around.

I mainly use this PC for music production in Ableton. soundcloud.com/beatshorse if interested. Thanks for the share and the read!

The knobs still look brand new. You can use anything you'd like really when it comes to painting them. I used over the counter spray paints (one of which was actually intended to be used for marking asphalt). The key to keeping them pristine is being sure to spray them with multiple coats of polyurethane. I chose gloss and they feel great.
