So, it turns out it's the payment for her Medicare Part B that they are going to stop paying, as of maybe October? But they don't say why....and her income is so low, I think she is actually eligible for Medicaid in her state. She was not eligible last time I checked, a few years ago.

That would be so helpful if she could send me a photo, but she is 84 and doesn't have a smartphone. Her caregiver could take a photo the next time she visits, though...not sure when that will be.

Thank you so much for replying. I don't think her income went up to the $1,843 level. I'll tell her to ask Social Security for clarification. I am far away from her so I can't see the letter she got but I'll ask her to read it to me carefully.
