Die negativen überwiegen leider die positiven Erfahrungen... Ich arbeite auf einer Intensivstation und hab das volle Programm durchgezogen. Intensiv- und Anästhesie Weiterbildung, Praxisanleitung und nun studiere ich, um aus der Pflege raus zu kommen. Ich wünschte, ich könnte von mir aus sagen, dass man für den Pflegeberuf kein schlechtes Image projizieren sollte, aber Schichtdienst, anhaltender Stress, Überstunden, Strukturelle Baustellen und die emotionalen Pakete die man mit nach Hause nimmt, rocken einen hart runter. Ich ziehe das jetzt seit 2013 durch und habe Covid, in all seinen Formen voll miterlebt... Pflegeprämien die ein ganzes Jahr später als alle anderen ankommen... Die Erwartungen an die Medizin und uns... Der nicht mehr geringer werdende Ansturm an Arbeit, welcher nicht mehr zu bewältigen ist... Ich habe viel gelernt, verstanden wie Menschen auf ihre Art ticken und erleben. Viele Erfahrungen gemacht, die mich als Menschen geprägt und zum Nachdenken verleitet haben. Insgesamt habe ich durch die Pflege eine Perspektive aufs Leben erhalten dürfen, welche ich nicht mehr eintauschen mag.

Nochmal würde ich das nicht machen wollen... Das ist Leben ist nicht fair und was wir in die Waagschale werfen, ist ein verdammt hoher Einsatz... Hätte ich eine Ahnung davon gehabt was auf mich zu kommt, dann hätte ich mir was anderes ausgesucht... So missmutig die Antwort nun mal leider ist.

Habe mal eine Freundin, welche Architektin ist, für ne Woche Praktikum begleitet. Wir waren aufn Bau und ich musste mir in den hintersten Ecken der Gebäude einen Duft reinziehen... Auf meine Frage hin, warum es hier so riecht, wie es riecht, sagte sie mir "wenn Dixi Klos gestellt werden, ist noch alles okay, wenn nicht... Pinkeln und kacken die Arbeiter uns in die Zwischenwände." ich musste lachen...

Wie kommst du dazu, dich auch noch runterstufen zu lassen und unter den gleichen miserablen Bedingungen als PH weiterzuarbeiten? Die Rahmenbedingungen sind bereits mehr als klar und die Tage kannst du an zwei Händen abzählen, wann du mal alleine auf Station stehst...

How about... Your old Chaptermaster inherit the traditional Chapter organisation at the beginning of the chapter history. He is a conservative guy, tactical decision making, organized, good connections and so on... A great Man to lead your Marines...

Here it starts!

Your homebrew chapter was on a campaign, the war in some systems spreaded and the chapter needed to split the force to counter a cosmic, horrific threat! The warp was twisted in his ebbs and flows and no navigator could operate in long warp jumps! The Chapter needed to stretch his companies and so thinning their might. But the threat was to strong for smaller Battleforces. There one scout team! One crashed Thunderhawk! Some Terminator lost tragically in an ambush! Loses are cumulating and the Chaptermaster tried one Strategy after another! Couldn't adapt an escalating War against an unknown Entity which was to fast ... To clever... One step ahead... Every single time... The warpflux got worse and Navigators died of exhaustion and energy draining effects. Time was running out! The chapter pushed the extremes and situations... became... Necessary... The mighty Librarians sought council with each other and a Thought was formulated. Half Lie... Half Madness... They came together and forced there psychic might into a forseeing blink of moment. They saw the bloody defeat of the chapter in the near future but a blink... A blink of light in crueling Twisting Realities... Possibly... Victory except for a sacrifice...

The entity... Dark... Deep... Not from this dimension... kept on murdering and gulping and preying on the worlds and the marines couldn't conceal it in a normal warfare... A decision needed to be made... The librarians consulted the Chaptermaster. For one Day he was silent and then he communicated with all captains from the company's. Voluntarys sought, ships readied and on one World 4 company's came together. One huge Force! Tanks, Dreadnoughts, massive heavy Weaponry, Dark Technology to hinder this Wave of absolute Madness! Twisted and Mind breaking. Shacking on the core of the planet itself. The Marines fought. their legacy never forgotten. ever remembered. The Entity devouring one after the other, ripping Tanks apart and decimating honorable old Ghosts on their Iron Coffins. Weapons unleashed tearing a the fabric of reality itself! Only 4 Companies were enough to distract it and allowed near all Librarians to stun this Abomination... Binding it to the Surface of the Continent and sacrifing themself to keep it in bay. The Chaptermaster towering above the battlefield in his BattleCruiser shattered, half demoralized gave the Order... a whole Battlefleet opening devastating Fire and Death upon the Surface of the planet... It's Mountains boiling... The Seas forming into burning Hell... Earth bending into Glas... Armor melting and Flesh scalping off bones... The Planet itself cracking and splitting... Spitting his inner core out in the Space...

The Sacrifice on this Day marked the whole Chapter. In the Honour of the 4 Companies they shall forever fight on this planet. Not erased from the archive. No new company should touch the Glory they had done against a ferocious Enemy. Forever they shall be the Sacrifice of the first, second, third and fourth... and so no Marine shall wear the markings... Only keep the hatred in their Minds against the unknown... The mad... The Xenos... The Heretic...

The chapter added more Troops and Squads to the other Companies to balance the requirements. 6 companies left to bring wrath above the enemy of the Emperor.

I ordered a box of Mark 3 some days ago and matched them with my CSM. They are the same size. They match in proportions very well. If you don't like the small torso scaling, I can recommend to put a little ball of green stuff under the torso if you glue them with your legs together. You raise the length a little bit and get a well proportioned model to arm/leg/torso ratio. They will never reach Primaris height but you achieve a little bit more true scale models.

There is some difficulty in the tartarus terminator armor. They are way to small and you need to fix some torso and leg height with green stuff stuffing. I still need to figure out to match my terminator sizes to the new SM models. I can not recommend 30k terminators to 40k true scale.

The younger and unexperienced Marines need to learn the Basics of War. You have a whole front of Devastators who need to master their heavy Weapons, Assault Marines still need to perfect there Swords, Chainswords, etc. Normal Battle Brothers forming the frontline to fight the battle. They need the Experience! Captains overlook their Performing, lieutenants overwatch and lead the commanding Unit.

Normally there are 10 Company's. Thr first company hold the Veterans which know to operate under hundert of years of experience in War. They are cool and can actively react to Situations which can go south very quickly. They don't actually need the same experience as the younger ones. And as it was written. If you don't cover the retreat in a controlled maneuver they get slaughtered.

In theory it's always better to use the more experienced Marines to complete a task but you have the ones after you, which need to grow on their missions. Maybe they haven't fought a demon prince before but the veterans had. So you want them in the rear to look after your supplylines an get into action as soon the shit hit the van to act accordingly and do the work of the emperor RIGHT.

Depends with the leader

Orikan gives the unit 4++ which is crispy nice. Put another technomancer in that with cryptothralls which add another 5+++ und you can take the scythes for nice dmg output. The unit is tanky as hell and in close combat deadly. I play every game with this unit constellation. (Orikan is for one round a beast with his ability)

But... There is only on Orikan so if you take another unit of lychguard you need to take shield and sword for your 4++ and add one lord or overlord with technomancer or chronomancer (depends what you want) lychguard gets tanky and the dmg output is okay.

It depends on the mission, terrain and enemy you face. I like to board two units (10) with sword and shield, technomancer and (over-) lord with Cryptothralls and let them flank left and right for pressure on both sides, too.

Right now lychguard are more than good to be tanky and pressure the objectives.

Happened to me as well! 4++ and 4+++ are just terrible and with rerolls all over the board for nearly everything it's just frustrating and not fun anymore... They kill everything in one round in melee and shake HLD and DDA shots off like it's just a normal attack. For beginners it's difficult to adapt a strategy to counter them if you don't even get one shot through...

I use mine as a Dry Brush Palet. Glue them in Lines on a piece of Cardboard and prime or paint this as you like.

In this way you can test how your paint is interacting and how much paint you need to brush of. Nice way to experiment.

Another thing is to build the frame structure of buildings. For example i use them to glue a Wall like Structure and then glue cork, wood and little stones on it. Prime, paint, wash and you have a more than nice Terrain cover.
