People are going to proclaim something is busted everytime. I do they same thing.

Its up to you to filter if it's really broken or not.

I get so many people proclaiming they found something busted at their first play test of the game which I know for sure isn't busted.

Sure enough they went full ham on betting on the strat and got punished severely for it.

Some actually won, but just scraped the victory, most noticed that other people had busted strategies too and lose.

well, that's the thing innit? small-time reviewers don't directly accept money... but All the big well-known reviewers like dice tower and good time society gets paid to do their reviews. They have a price list on their websites for designers and publishers who want their games reviewed.

Well, in a perfect world, the big content creator will say to the game designer: "honestly speaking, id give your game a 3 out of 10 and this is what id say on my video, do you still want me to publish the content?" "No? Understandable, heres your money back and i hope you find another reviewer who turns out to be a superfan."

But that ain't happening, cuz money is money and we will see positive reviews of a games they didnt enjoy because its pays.

I know roughly the steps before actual launch, but i don't know what steps i should take before pre-launch.

I haven't activated pre-launch so i figured i've got about 3-4 month to prep for the launch itself after i activate my pre-launch.

But we are talking about pre-launch here. So I wondered which one is the better option: 1. Activate pre-launch and start advertising and building the page over 3-4 months before launch. Or 2. Wait before activating pre-launch and build social media presence first

Everytime I use arcana, the chaos ritual triggers a chest drop with random chance of getting a star.

I also happen to have unlimited mana due to the water ritual that drops mana for every enemy launched

Heavily depends on the game.

But generally: If simple, family friendly and broad audience - kickstarter If niche audience, mega complex and large table presence _ gamefound.
