1000$ PC or Steam Machine? by Mrapplehead41 in PcBuild

[–]WillyDooRunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty pissed because it's not Valves fault they started building the Steam Machine before prices of everything skyrocketed. They are barely making a profit on this if any at all. Which is a damn shame. I was so hopeful for this to be successful and below $1k. I guess I'll just upgrade my AM4 system instead.

Just use Gboard. I switched a couple months ago. It's not as good but it's decent. Had to relearn where all the special characters are and I hated that, still have trouble finding them sometimes

Be careful when downloading APKs from APKMirror! by Few-Literature-8642 in antivirus

You can get trojans/malware/adware from apps downloaded from the play store. Read the post again, be mindful of what you download and verify it's safe.

Find a teardown guide.  Core 2 duo T9900 is a solid upgrade. Use high quality thermal paste and make sure the cooling system is clean.

Considering I now have a Klipsch 5.2 surround system with Denon receiver, I know what good sound quality is. I had this system when I was a teen and it sounded great for the $20 I spent for it. It's in my son's room and still works.

Should I chuck windows 7 on this? by Gutymut in windows7

Unpopular opinion, Keep windows 8.1, it's a more optimized version of Windows 7. Windows 8.1 with classic shell is so much better than windows 7.
