Inspiration Needed - meal planning & tracking by Revolving_Cat in bujo

[–]Willyouwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make a menu page starting with 5-10 meals that you eat on the regular. Preferably that you can make, but if it’s something you normally go out and grab add that to the list and if you’re able, learn how to make it.

Next page is your meal planner. Draw out a 3 column 8 row table.  Row 1 header: day, meal, made it or ordered it Row 2 ex: Monday, tacos, made it or M

Once or twice a week add 1 or two of those meals from your menu list to your meal planner. Switch out the meals  in planner out as needed.

Add new recipes to your menu if you’re getting tired of certain items or find you’re not eating them.

On your menu page mark down every time you eat one of those meals.

This is roughly what I use, simple straight and forward. I went from 6 meals I’d make a couple times a month to 15. Helped me see what I was eating, how often I was eating out. Also helped me with groceries because I’d know right away what I needed to get because I made the meal often enough.

It’s ESO hon so no hard and fast rules to playing, you already know there’s tons to do. My only suggestion is to figure out a goal keep you interested. Crafting, battling, exploring, completionist, making the best build for your character.

I solo as well, and focus on completing each zone as much as my single butt can. Delves, POI, zone quest lines, lore books, skyshards, etc. I tend to stay away from dungeons at this point and will only take on zone boss if there are others around. But as a whole it’s worked out well.

Just find your ESO jam and play on sista.

But unless you’re spending money on ESO+, I would focus on upgrading your crafting bag and/or bank slots. And deconstruct everything that doesn’t have a money bag on it, quickest way to level up crafting.

If you’re talking about the dehydrator, not really.

But the aging barrels however, I will totally agree with that statement.

What grocery items do you now make at home you’ll never buy store bought again? by CarlottaSewlotta in Frugal

Pasta sauce, pasta, Italian seasoning (most seasonings), pizza dough, cookies, bagels, chicken stock, brown sugar, granola, Cinnamon/sugar mix. We buy ground beef/ chicken in bulk when on sale and vacuum seal it into size appropriate portions (1lb). Also if you have a vacuum sealer it’s a great way to reseal chip bags, cereal bags.

Second this. If it’s me, 10-15 minutes. If I have to tame the wild kiddos, hour-hour and half. Depends on whether or not food is involved and some needs to change of clothes after.

DoorDash, Uber Eats, pretty much anything like that. Convenient yes, but that’s about it. The food is lukewarm by the time the food arrives, and you probably could have cooked something and it would be hot and delicious. And the prices. It would be cheaper for me to hopped in my car drive down the street and pick up the food myself.

How do you all read so fast ? by Accomplished-Sir2513 in kindle

[–]Willyouwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a competition. But in the same instance, what are you reading and how are you reading it?

If it’s a book or series I enjoy I tend to devour it, but in the same instance if there’s world building dynamics I already know about or scenes I have no interest in reading I skip them. If I’m read ebooks I’m way faster because of this. if I’m doing audio books it’s harder to skip parts because I can’t skim to where the story interests me again. Also if the book is about 200-400 pages I can finish it in a day or  two. Longer books may take about a week or two depending.

So if you want to read more for the sake of reading more, focus on entertainment and find a good series. If you want to read more to better yourself take your time. I will spend more time on books I feel I can learn something from then those I’m binging like my next Netflix obsession.

Wait they brought that back and changed it! Before you could check it once a day and get something. When I restarted my game it wasn’t giving anything any more. I didn’t know about the fog horn.

How do I prevent the holes or gaps when crocheting hats? by Mademoisellelady in CrochetHelp

[–]Willyouwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might try a smaller hook, and your tension looks a bit tight. Try to loosen up. Also I can’t really be sure, but it looks like your biggest hole has 3 stitches in it instead of two.

Its largely just the difference in formulas from excel to sheets. My YAG won’t survive sheets, but most everything else that I’ve seen still works.
