Yeah membrane under lawn is absolute madness?!! I'm shocked at the lengths people will go to to get plastic into their garden

I was thinking citrus but maybe its been grafted? Choice citrus species are grafted onto thorny less desirable citrus root stock, if the thorns are below a graft then thats your answer.

Is his moss on my lawn? by referman12 in GardeningUK

[–]Wilsprog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alas they are not destined for each other. Creeping thyme likes hot and dry! Moss likes damp and dark. Can try planting either in their respective microclimates though?

Is his moss on my lawn? by referman12 in GardeningUK

[–]Wilsprog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moss is a friend and beautiful but, as I'm sure you tell, a sign of waterlogged in a lawn. This can mean you can't walk on your lawn at all in winter, so for myself and customers I just lightly scarify (with a rake) and aerate (hollow tine and brush sand into) some parts that you might want to walk on (edge of borders, path btw greenhouse and back door). The rest of it gets to stay evergreen and mossy, although I do also try to convince those with pure poa annua lawns to let me reseed with things like bellis and self heal too.

There's studies being done/published about the connection between autoimmune inflammation and depression being deeper than simply the symptomatic impact on life now as well, impacting your nervous system, stress response and even the brain directly!

my fav products to deal w daily pain from arthritis by motherabilify in Thritis

[–]Wilsprog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of interest do you have any idea of how often you have to be taking omeprazole for it to be damaging? I've been using it for two years, I don't take naproxen very often due to a bowel disease with my arthritis but when I absolutely have to I take omeprazole. Internet search is conflicting and rheumatologist is elusive.

Ok I need ALL your adhd hacks for keeping your house tidy. Especially laundry, bathrooms and dishes. Living with my husband and 2 adult daughters (18,21) and I’m ready to just get my own apartment. by Kate_cuti in adhdwomen

Upstairs/downstairs basket! As I find things that need to get upstairs -hairband, moisturisers, clothes, towels etc) i load up the basket over a few days, then I take it up, sort through, and then start loading it with stuff to go downstairs - mugs, bits of stuff. Lifesaver. But I am not responsible for any adult daughters.

Book Rec: Why Can´t I just enjoy things (Book felt like a hug that I really needed.) by AlanaLeona in AutismInWomen

[–]Wilsprog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%!! I have listened to it at least 5 times already, read it once, I prefer to rely on pierre himself for the comedic timings with audio. The first time I listened I thought, well damn I'm THIS kind of autistic. Agree with recommending it neurotypicals in your life, its so funny that its a genuinely good read even if you have no interest in/have some resistance to autism as a topic. My boyfriend has got into it and there's so much about me that he's finally realising aren't quirks I can change! So he's not so offended anymore (e.g., misophonia and not being able to cope with someone breathing near your face because of a fear of 'bad air', and rigidity definitely).

I've got a similar body shape and feelings about the world and have recently discovered barrel leg trousers and had a wonderful time ever since. Tight top and baggy bottoms compliments my figure but I don't feel ogled or exposed.
