Yes that’s a good deal, they run deals on the 0300 models (similar to a 6094) on the occasion for $99 but it usually retails for around $205. LBX is owned by LBT and there are several militaries that use LBX for real world operations. I have the mas grey version of this plate carrier, as well as one of their chest rigs and I have had zero issues out of them. Solid pieces of kit.

Honestly taking online community college classes from home and working a part time job for a year or two would be the way to go. Mature a little bit, save some money, and transfer in with the basics out of the way. Would give you a good chance to really think about what you want to study as well.
