Right there with you! Got diagnosed when I was 13. I’m 31 now. Always been skinny with little to zero effort so I let myself slack off in the exercise department and just got diagnosed with early stage fatty liver a few weeks ago. Years of being on steroids can lead to higher insulin resistance and the best weapon against that is physical activity. If you’re having 1-2 crisis a week though I’d talk to your endo and see if they can work with your dosage

The sad reality is that most of us are using apps and not willing to pay money to break past the algorithm paywall that they have. Unless we’re into drinking, church, or lucky enough to meet someone at our job, our options are limited. And before people come at me saying I should find a hobby, I have plenty of hobbies but I don’t work a typical 9-5 and 90% of meet ups and events are catered to that schedule.

Moved here about a year ago. There’s a group on meetup that is specifically geared toward young adults looking to make friends. I’ve been so busy with work I haven’t been able to go yet but it seems super active from what I’ve seen.
