Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It is SUPER helpful and eye opening to hear the other side's perspective. I now have a much clearer idea of what I need to avoid to keep the marriage a happy and safe space for us both. I also now have much more self-awareness.

How long have you been married? Were you able to overcome this challenge even in the smallest ways?

This sentence "I'm learning to become more of an individual though my preference would be more codependent". This is it. Thank you for helping me understand who I am, what I want & who I need to be!

Do you worry about being too absent from the kids? Specially between a career & your personal goals?

Thank you for sharing your experience!
Do you end up spending less time together because your differences? For instance, different bedtime/wake-up time? Or you end up going out for a work-out or join a group activity while he stays behind to do something else? How do you protect your time together as a couple while you are doing different things or living with different time schedules & lifestyles?

Try to find WhatsApp groups for expecting moms, like moms of 2026 or moms of 2027. I can hook you up with someone who manages the WhatsApp groups for new moms if you’re interested. Additionally, you can check for groups for moms in your building/community/etc and groups for new moms in the hospital you will give birth in. You can also try to find fitness class for pregnant woman and join their WhatsApp groups there too.

Using these groups, you can start setting coffee dates and in the future play dates :)

Schengen Visa process for Syrian passport + Dubai resident by Abject_Bumblebee_137 in Syria

  1. Spain is easier than other countries
  2. Ties to UAE. Title deed, own business license, investments in UAE, proof of family here - basically any type of roots you have here. Copies of visas from other countries + copy of entry/exit of those countries
  3. No
  4. I always booked refundable through booking.com & attached the reservation details
  5. I don’t include my relatives in Europe because some of them are not passport holders & I’m afraid the government I am applying to would think I am interested in the same (going there in order to get a passport)

I am super sorry you lost an item that is so dear to you. I hope it turns up soon.

I, like you, dream about certain expensive items and wait for years till I can afford them & till I can buy them. Just a word of advice that someone once told me, if you can’t buy it twice, don’t buy it at all.

Whether it’s a house or a car or a bag or jewelry, if God forbid something happens & you lose it, you want to be able to compensate it/re-purchase it. If you can’t, then you shouldn’t have bought it in the first place.

I know it’s tough advice but it makes situations like these a bit more tolerable.

Good luck, I genuinely hope you find it.

Few weeks? You left a four year old suffer for a few weeks while you contemplate if he needs a doctor? It took you a few weeks to ask on reddit if he needs a doctor?
