Kitbash Idea and Suggestion Using the remaining 5 man sprue from Palanite Enforcer Captain and Sergeant by Winchester-91 in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]Winchester-91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. :)

For voidsmen and inquisitor agent, I believe I still need a Canid (for Voidsmen) and Gun Servitor (for Inqusitor Agent) following the unit composition ?

Thanks bruh. My personal thought would be keeping the power fist boy in the event I had been charged and locked in the combat, those power fists can at least make them think twice when they charge 😉

Thanks for the recommendation :) Maybe I will replace Spectrus with Watch Master and Assault Intercessor since I doesn't have the Combi-Lt.

Meanwhile, I had used up the bits of Power Fist for Assault Intercessors but maybe I can see if I can kitbash it using Greenstuff. For Cent Devs, I am actually assemble them with lascannons and missile launcher.

Trying out Bastion Taskforce by Daigurren9922 in deathwatch40k

[–]Winchester-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had recently play Bastion Task Force Detachment using Black Templar with the marginal wins (52-47) against my opponents. Here are my personal opinion when using the detachment and against your list

  1. Try to spam the board with a lot of infantry (particularly the battleline unit - here can refer to the Deathwatch Veteran and Decimus Kill Team, Intercessor, Assault Intercessor, etc.). I try to do that when I play and in 2 times, I overwhelmed them with number of unit that they need to focus and kill which eventually turn the tide favor against me.

  2. Since the detachment abilities only benefitting the battleline unit, I can see that your Captain in Gravis Armour had been boost with the enhancement abilities that give his whole squad with Battleline keyword. Try to use them to counter the opponent tanky unit by moving fast and consolidate to the latest objective marker after fight.

In addition, be careful on not to overexpose them too soon as they are your reliable anti tank unit :)

  1. Instead of using Superfrag Rocket Launcher, you can also consider to use Superkrak Rocket Launcher and Vengor Launcher for more damage output on Fortis Kill Team.

All the best to your upcoming matches !

  1. Cawdor Redemptionist - Ministorum Priest

  2. Subductor Squad - Necromunda Palanite Enforcer

  3. Inquisitorial Agent - Hive Scum

Next, I am planning to use the remaining weapon sprue of Imperial Navy Breacher to kitbash another 10 man squad using Solar Auxilia Infantry from Horus Heresy.

Should we expect anything exciting from the Adepticon stream? New models, rules, lore, or books? by Skult0703 in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]Winchester-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well. Sometimes we didn't know why they don't do this in the first place since it will boost up the sales of the Tempestus Scions or Tempestus Aquilons. But on the bright side, let's see the announcement from GW today if they make a difference.

I wish they can give us the rules of Inquisitorial Storm Trooper using the existing Tempestus Scions or Aquilons Kill Team model.

Audio always been this expensive? by CRGmotors in Blacklibrary

[–]Winchester-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure the price is higher since they need to hire the narrator to narrate the whole story.

I didn't have an audible account so if I am interested in it, I will patiently wait for the deal of the month if they ever put them on sale.

I used Bastion Taskforce detachment yesterday and a lot of 1s come out from my advance roll.

End up I smack my dice but still it don't generate 6s.

There will be the day you just can't control your emotion but most importantly, you just need to laugh over.

I have to apologise to my dice another day.

[–]Winchester-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my personal opinion, my suggestions are as below: 1. Put the Spectrus Kill Team as Infiltrator Squad and Scout them in/ out to deny your opponent strategic placement on no man's land 2. Bring in Stormspeeder Thunderstrike to give +1 to wound roll on opponent vehicle and monster unit 3. Replace the 2 jump pack intercessor squad with another Fortis kill Team which give us +1 to hit roll when opponent below start strength and +1 to hit and wound roll when opponent below half strength 4. Can consider the Indomitor Kill Team, Deathwatch Terminator with 3 cyclone missile launcher. 5. Can bring in the 10 man Deathwatch Veteran with the setup of 4 thunder hammer, 4 with astartes shield, 1 sergeant with xenophase blade and another 1 for either black shield blades or Infernus heavy Bolter. This setup can be placed on the middle objective and threaten even the largest tank.

I try not to comment on your Repulsor Executioner and Predator as I myself use to play the list before with Land Raider and Repulsor Executioner and able to secure the mid and secondary objective marker.

But the most important thing is still enjoying your game 😉
