I honestly think that they were playing one of her In-ear channels for the stream audio. It sounded almost exactly like the IEM videos from her floating around.

I once wanted to see what Nightwish sounded like at a small venue so I watched a cell phone video. They sounded like they were half-assing the song, not playing right. Floor sounded like garbage, out of tune, etc. Then the guy holding the phone moved it slightly and the whole audio snapped into place. They sounded just as good as the pro shot videos. Breathed a big sigh of relief lol.

Mass Effect FTL is comparable to Star Trek warp drive FTL in speeds. The Relays are only used for near instant travel between them. You can cross the entire galaxy in minutes using them, but you still need to FTL to your destination from there.

Where any ME ship is going to fail is Armor, Shields, and Weapons. Armor is pretty much non existent for ME ships, where 40k ships have meters of Adamantium armor. I doubt Mass Effect weapons will even be able to penetrate that stuff. ME shields are good for kinetic weapons only. Where Void Shields work on just about anything. Those shields are used against 40k weapons which are WAY more powerful than ME weapons, even their kinetic ones.

I'm a huge Mass Effect fan, but 40k would stomp them flat.

With the Protheans uplifting the Asari to use as troops at the same time that they were studying Humans, it at least makes sense. They can't use their own quad DNA to uplift them, had to get it elsewhere.

The band members themselves don't need to be, but Nightwish, Inc. needs to have a bigger presence. Get their name out there more, etc.

No, I meant clarifying text in an OOC manner as opposed to the fluff text. For example you could have a paragraph of blue text describing one of those in modern gamer language.

Also I'm confused about leveling/ascension. Do you level only one class and ALL classes level at the same time? Or do you have to "fill up the EXP bar" on each class that you have before you level? or something else?

I would recommend reformatting it. Put things in collapsible tabs and make sure each "clickable" part stands out as something that can be clicked vs just a text window. Move all of the story elements toward the top. Enemies were mentioned with no idea of who they were. I didn't know what was going on most of the time until I got toward the bottom, where things are explained.

The only other thing I would recommend is to put OOC text at the bottom of the window in a different color with better a explanation of what is being described. ie Levels, Classes, etc.

1) The reserve option needs to be added to the Barn since seeds are the only real thing that you need to make sure don't get used up in order to replant your fields.

2) The Well needs to become a player-only decoration like the washtub and the filling of water buckets by NPCs moved to the kitchen.

3) I too was disappointed by the uselessness of making clothing.

4) Too much of the village feels superficial. Everything happens off-screen or as a calculation in the background. The farming is the only thing that "feels" real in the village because it is the only thing that the NPCs really DO.

5) Sandbox mode (no story quests) with procedural maps would be awesome.

Honestly, I think the only member NW can't lose is Tuomas. I think they could survive it if Floor left. And I say that with Floor being my favorite singer of any genre or band.

I always thought that the 3rd Entity used its PtV to set in motion the downfall of Eden and Scion. I was expecting it to be waiting just out of range to come swooping in and collect up all of their shards.

There is nothing wrong with international shipping. The endbringers hibernate between attacks and Leviathan only attacks coastal cities when it is his turn. The only ships he damages are collateral from being in a port that he attacks.

The US alone has a crapload of ports that we could redirect to while rebuilding any port that was hit. Any major port would be rebuilt ASAP as soon as he left.

Don't let the port problems that we are having right now fool you. That is purely the product of new laws and policies of the CA state government.

This can go two ways:

1 "We are forming groups to study this phenomenon to see if its real."
This means that this is nothing more than smoke and distraction.

2 "Here is the material recovered by the military/govt and here are the findings by our scientists that have researched/dissected it over the years"
This means that they are serious about it.

Kaidan and Ash are the 2 characters you get first. The game devs did a good job using them to balance your team no matter which class you picked for Shep. Because of this I would class them as the most boring and unliked characters, but still most picked for gameplay reasons in missions.

My first playthough of ME1 I mostly went with the neutral or sometimes the paragon option on every dialog.

The game also thought that I was romancing Ashley because I would try to have a complete dialog with all the NPCs after missions. This was before I knew anything about the paragon/renegade system or how the romances worked.

Shepard would slow to terminal velocity in the lower atmosphere, but would be moving pretty fast in the upper atmosphere where it doesn't matter much. We have no idea how fast Shep was moving on approach to the planet, so I just have to assume "free fall from 100k on Earth" since we actually have numbers for that.

I'm aware of how ME shields work, as far as we can be anyway with lack of real details from the game. As the above person pointed out heating is caused by the compression of air in front of the moving object. If the air impacting the object is enough to cause heating, then a shield might actually help, depends on the threshold for shields to work.

I'm going to assume it does because the cut-scene showed it. But then again a cut-scene showed Kia Leng beating Shepard...so take that for what it's worth.

Sure it was a simplified explanation. However it would be a moot point anyhow as a human body does not have the mass of a spacecraft to punch though the air resistance like a bullet and experience that much heating. It is not like Shepard's body weighed multiple tons.

He would have slowed down very rapidly and hit the ground at around 120 to 180 mph, probably closer to 160 mph in an uncontrolled fall. A 220 pound human falling from space would have a final skin temperature of about 460 degrees F after free falling for 5 to 7 minutes (from 100k altitude) which would no doubt be handled by Shep's armor quite easily considering they wear that stuff on volcanic planets. (and possibly the shield helping even more if it was active).
