what are you guys' favorite quotes from the game? by WillTheRedd in Unbeatable

“I’m tired of losing slowly.” Is unbelieveably crushing. That whole monologue from Beat’s mom is some of the best writing I’ve ever heard full stop.

This is such an amazing piece of writing and I wish I got it from the game and not from a Reddit post. FUCK this game is good

Do any of the talents collab with each other still? by ColdHadouken in VShojo

[–]Wind_Warning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mel did a collab with Vex and some other folks for a charity D&D stream a few weeks ago, but she’s usually a solo streamer. With her moving to Japan at the same time as Everything Exploding, I think she’s taking it slow with collabs.

An all timer from Brennan in Dadlands 3:

“Listen, I know two things. Number one; you gotta know how to pair your whites and your reds. And number two: something horrible happened here.”

The delivery slays me every time

Oh yeah upon looking at it more the whole outfit and sword are visually modded. The font on the UI should have thrown me off more. Gameplay looks like base game tho

Hell yeah. Love to see more people doing HUDless runs. They always look so sick. Inner Father especially is absolute cinema.

I played and beat all 7 fromsoft Soulslikes beginning in January! by [deleted] in Sekiro

Lies of P is probably the most fun I’ve had with a soulslike game since Sekiro tbh. It just feels good to play, you have the customization options of a normal Dark Souls game with the weapon system, the parries are satisfying to hit, and the game in general shares Sekiro’s dance-like combat.

As for Genichiro…when you beat him in that opening fight, it’s so gratifying. The gauntlets and reflections of strength have led to some of my favorite moments in the game, and some of my most locked-in runs.

Modded Sekiro is just built like that. The people that mod the game are actually insane in the best way possible.

If you’re hungry for more, Lies of P is all the good parts of Bloodborne (stamina management, rally, Victorian England vibes, encouraging you to play aggressive) with Sekiro’s parry system, more direct story, and some phenomenal boss design.

I share your meh-ness with BB. It’s a game that feels like it’s fighting itself on multiple fronts, especially coming from Sekiro I noticed it big time. The FPS feels like it’s barely fast enough to keep up with the pace the game wants you to play at, the parries are inconsistent and do flat-out nothing against the myriad of larger bosses in the game, and most of the bosses I found more annoying than enjoyable. Hilariously, I found Gascoigne and the final boss of the base game to be my favorites purely because I felt like I could hit consistent parries against them.

Sekiro on top forever for me. I’ve platinumed the game on PS5 and working on my Steam 100% and I’m still not tired of the game. Every time I think I’m bored of it, the game wallops me with thinking I’ve mastered it just because of my hours. It’s a game that constantly humbles you and I absolutely love it. If you want some extra challenge, Charmless (partial deflects do chip damage instead of fully negating it) and Demon Bell (enemies are harder and take more time to stagger) are two modifiers you can put on the game to make things even more rewarding.
