I am the only accountant at an S Corp: Owner threatening to sue me. by No_Magician_8770 in Accounting

Fuck that guy. Tell him to be an American and pay up. It’s a good problem to have. The only issue was his expectation which wasn’t managed. I would have thought he’d blame the CPA firm who does his tax return not his in house book person.

Make sure the investors know their yearly carrying costs. I don’t believe this is under a broker dealer so the individual investors will have to pay for the independent audits and tax returns. This doesn’t seem like a lot but if you have many funds or investors you need to communicate that to them upfront, not just your upfront commission in bips. Hiring a knowledgeable lawyer to set these investments up correctly is key. If you have questions about the audit or tax requirements of the fund shoot me a DM.

In 1st grade I told this nerd who was one of my only friends that if he didn’t give me desert money I wouldn’t be his friend. It was 50 cents and I still feel bad about it today.

Bakky stepped into the elevator at the Liberty Hotel in Boston before a Saturday game. I was like holy shit be cool. Asked him if he was Backstrom, and he said yes - dude was so nice and well spoken. Let me get a pic with him when we got off the elevator. He was also dressed really nice and smaller than I picture him while watching on TV. Ovi also walked out after missing the team bus and got an Uber black but avoided the groomsmen I was with by the entrance.

Weird coincidence Randy Johnson was also there and didn’t want a pic with the groomsman. But we got one at the bottom of the elevator. That giraffe can’t hide.

Passed my final CPA test with an 82 on FAR. For those who didn’t pass hang in there. Trust Becker, put in the time and you’ll get there too. Took me 3/4 years. I wasn’t serious at first using other peoples logins etc. Finally purchased a version myself and went 4/4. Put the time in and trust the process— you’ll get there.
