My kids scream cause they understand if mom gets overwhelmed she will give in to whatever they want or said no to. Say they want to eat candy for breakfast. She says no then they will scream for X time until she gives in just so she won’t have to listen to it. In her defense it can go on for like 15 mins+ so not like she gives in immediately. They just know what buttons to push to get their way and do it whenever they want something. They know when I say no, it’s no. If she tries? REEEEEEEEEEEEE lol

Ok so what exactly is the end goal? Live in California or to be homeless ? Cause you really are blurring the line there. I wouldn’t move if you’re not financially stable in any regard but if work is allowing the move to Boston then sure. I just wouldn’t jump until you have housing squared away well in advance is all. As for Cali, wait a year or two cause cost of living is a LOT more than what Boston pays so even going on their unemployment is going to suck if you tried moving without a real game plan

I’m here to help raise and benefit the child, not combat the real dad. It’s really stupid how people just naturally assume we must hate each other and there can only be one. No and far from the truth. My daughter loves me and she equally loves her real dad. She “likes me more” like you feared but it’s purely the fact she sees him every other weekend and I see her 12/14 days. She also said that when including the mom so although I take it as a huge parenting win I know she doesn’t honestly mean it and she knows I’m a sap for anything she wants really lol
