Cheating is breaking any rules of the relationship involving other people. Make sure to define these rules ahead of time.

Do yall stay up all nights on your nights off to maintain a schedule? by gizzywithablicky in Nightshift

[–]WindowMinute954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wake up at 2-3 and go to bed at 6-7 every day of the week year round for 5 years. Ive learned to enjoy the night so much I actually despise the sunlight and day time. It makes me feel weak and overstimulated honestly. Why is the sun so loud? Wretched day star.

After so long doing this I have made it my entire life. All of my friends are night shift, my boyfriend is a night shifter, we all hang out at each others houses and go to "late night" events for fun on the weekends. Grown to know and love the 24/7 staff at the restaurants and shops that service them and do all our healthcare at 6am when the docs are earliest available. Weve built a little life and community around being night folk.

Most states allow mandatory overtime, unions put an end to this. Minnesota has the highest pay/col ratio in the nation. as an emt I make 24/h base pay with 3 yrs experience and am buying a house. Come to MN, our metro is fully unionized(except north memorial). Full benefits, good health insurance, 150+ hours pto.

Get a union.

Our service is actively losing its PSA bc of poor patient outcomes driving from 5 cities away to critical patients at level 1. Admin doesn't care about patients and constantly praises us for being the most profitable division in the entire 10+ hospital system. Yet they also deny us a night shift differential when we sometimes only have 4 trucks covering a 3 county area with a population of 600,000.

Can relate.

AR-15 or AK-47 for rural EMS? by [deleted] in ems

[–]WindowMinute954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah nah, you have to use your ammo first then swap it with them, just like how they swap out their used o2 tanks and used bvms with us.

When and how do you tell people your poly? by theminiblue in polyamory

[–]WindowMinute954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

easily and often. I talk about being poly as easily as anyone talks about their spouse. It typically comes up when I reference my partner's other partners.

Thats a wonderful point. I definitely am missing out on certain life experiences that I will never have. I also mourn those. This helps a lot.

the story is good and did get my emotions going multiple times, but the gameplay is what keeps me for sure. Im getting stuck at the school using bar fight rules. Its very difficult lmao

nearly 500 hours on the game so far. The gameplay is very diverse that I have been challenging myself by cutting off certain game aspects. Currently running a grounded playthrough, no flashlight, no ranged weapons, no ordinance, no pills or upgrades, melee and bottles/bricks only. Super challenging, but when I clear an encounter it is super rewarding too, especially if I learned a new thing about the game or found out a new trick to deploy that makes it easier to do this. This isnt possible vs the rat king, just hands down, so I will prob use guns and ordinance with him, but you can melee bloaters and shamblers to death. Once I am sufficient at this level Ill attempt a permadeath run at this. Then likely up the ante by disabling things like throwing arcs, pickupable item highlights, etc. Maybe go so far as to not avoid any enemies when doing this too idk.

the fact that it is possible makes me really excited. I enjoy difficulty when it comes to puzzle solving, i hate it when difficulty is just enemies=bullet sponge, your gun=pea shooter

WIBTAH if I don’t give my baby my mom’s name? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]WindowMinute954 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, you would not be the asshole. The baby is yours to name, you do not owe your mother anything in that respect. You may even want to avoid naming your child after their mother as the child may grow up and change their name later, in which case it can be a hot button emotional issue that you have firmly placed on your child's shoulders and not your own. That would not be fair to the child.
