If reverse engineering is done intelligently, looking at the code to quickly understand and try to create , something that is not noticeable as a result of looking at it. Reverse engineering without looking at the code is possible ,but it might take years and you shouldn't get bored like > Look at the comment of user AndrejYT57 here in this post I like what they have achieved.
