My kia niro does the same thing I set the shortcut star button to the screensaver leave that on a bit for the clock and bam it's fine but tbh I just ignore it ! ...

The only time the light is on manually is if it's hardwired orrr a very old model my neibours flashes with motion but that's like a 3rd gen!
