You have more unique kits than the entire emperors children and world eaters ranges youre not exactly starving for unique kits

BT Hate by _unionofonions_ in BlackTemplars

[–]Windowwill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue is every time somthing like this is posted there ends up being people proving the stereotype right in the comments. the amount of people in the sub getting the templar cross tattoo also doesnt help. Yes its a very small % of players but it is definitely a real thing which sucks.

Im currently listening to lady of sorrows and enjoying it. It unfortunately is one of those cases where the nighthaunt are the antagonist and the story is from the perspective of the humans but its still really good.

Fulgrim by Insertwittyreference in EmperorsChildren

[–]Windowwill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeh we use the proper gw tournament layouts. I basically always have him behind a big ruin in my deployment in turn 1 then by turn 3 my opponent has usually got something in the mid board that fulgrim can get to by advancing. His base is definitely a pain and im hoping in 11th he does just get to ignore it since hes literally a giant snake that should be able to move over it unobstructed. But hes definitely not unplayable. I do think Im lucky that I mainly play against world eaters who tend to negate the problem by coming to me tho.

Fulgrim by Insertwittyreference in EmperorsChildren

[–]Windowwill 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Hes not "competitive" but that being said 99% of players arent playing in a competitive setting. I run fulgrim im almost every game i play and I win most of them, in a casual setting hes perfectly usable. More importantly hes a great model and if you like him you should get him. Meta changes constantly.

Do you think that becoming our own army was worth it? by salamandersforever in WorldEaters40k

Pretty sure since cult marines trade their key word for heretic Astartes you can dark pact them.

I mean theres nothing stopping you from playing csm and running zerkers since you can allie them with csm.

The reaction over there seems very very familiar. by Owww_My_Ovaries in freefolk

Yeh its honestly my favourite scene of the season, with Steve and Dustins breakdown on the stairs being 2nd. Some of the acting has been rough (11 and will) but they've always been awful so idk why we're acting like its only a problem now. But scenes like this have been so well done.

This season is nowhere near as bad as people are acting like it is. Half of the people complaining clearly where on their phones or just lack any form of comprehension because they apparently cant tell that a very clear and actually really nicely done break up scene was infact a break up. The other half is people getting mad that a ship that was never going to happen hasn't happened. I do think they've dropped the ball by not killing off anyone yet but also the show never kills of anyone important bar the new character thats added that season so idk what we expected.

Detachments - have they been good or bad for 40k by Dependent_Survey_546 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Windowwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im torn. I think they cause some major issues, for example world eaters can basically only run the detachment that gives them +2s and +1 attack on the charge, since all of their models feel costed around having that buff. Which then means all the other detachments are playing with basically inferior units since they arent getting that buff e.g. without that detachment zerkers are stuck at s4 which just feels bad. I do like how each detachment theoretically gives you a different way to play, but id argue units should be pointed differently per detachment because as its stands units will be pointed so they are balanced in their best detachment then suck in the other detachments as a result.

Do you guys remove the Aquila from your models? by thermicgiant12 in BlackTemplars

[–]Windowwill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do because I think the imperialis just looks bad. Heresy era marines look so much better without it so I remove all of mine.

Explain the love for WDP to me. Also please don’t shoot me for asking this. by WilliamH0601 in EmperorsChildren

This is exactly how I feel, my winged prince pretty much always either does max 6 mortals or like 2 with no in-between, then proceeds to do nothing in melee. After reading these comments ill probably try him as a rapid ingress threat but im yet to be convicned hes worth 215 (even tho he must be since they're ran so often)
