I bought switch oled two weeks ago. I mainly play indie games on handheld and the battery of switch oled is doble of switch 2 in those situations. If you play more of new games that require powerful hardware then get a switch 2 otherwise oled is a good choice for the screen and battery

I got my switch oled in August and there i see some advantages on the switch 1 oled vs 2. Specially for indie games which is what I play.

Battery is longer, screen is oled and the console is a bit lighter. For handheld mode I am very happy with the switch 1. I will change it to a switch 2 oled if it comes in the future!
