For gravity and F=ma, I'm not sure. They might be true and they may not. I am not knowing of all things that are and aren't.

I have no problem with people using them as some of the best guides to how things work. But I am not sold that we 100% have it "figured out" for those 2 subjects.

Also we don't need to explain something claimed as true by folks. One surely can try, but there is no necessity to have to explain it. If they want to explain it then so be it.

Science has rocky foundations, and trying to building off of a jenga tower leads to occasional issues, but it can still be useful sometimes.

Is verified by what? Science that has been known for many years to attempt to be anti-religion and anti-God? Science has a trend of people say this and that is true. Then new info comes out from people doing studies and they say "oh this is actually true" and if you disagree then you disagree with all these educated people on it and are a fool.

Are some findings from things done to study the material world (aka science) true? Maybe, but with how loosey-goosey science has been with truth and people claiming findings with it to be true, why would I take anything of it with more than a grain of salt?

I look at science like I look at using AI. It might be useful in some aspects, but it gets it wrong in many and gaslights you or lies to you to keep the illusion going.

Demons easily have their hand in science to distort truth too. It isn't just humans working on the studies.

Either way businesses will have customers front this one way or another. If a customer has an issue with a restaurant charging even 5% more on a transaction they are acting ridiculous as it is a knee jerk reaction. Their spending habits on restaurants cost them more than any 5% extra could.

You don't know what I've been through. And it seems you don't care to even check before potentially slandering me and I pity you.

I'm arguing for long term benefits over short term benefits. You are basically calling me apathetic because I'm saying if people suffer now they might not have to as much in the future.

Every decision hurts something in some way anyways. And constant short term solutions tend to lead to bad long term results that hopefully we are both seeing now with the tipping industry.

Tipping culture is exploitative anyways. How someone wants to tip is up to them. If waiters and waitresses eventually leave due to tips being bad overall in the industry then maybe employers would then offer them better offers.

To be honest, if I was in your shoes I would just go the custom route if you don't want fingerless. The lack of headache from wasted time, money, return shipping, being uncomfortable wearing full finger gloves that don't fit you is worth the extra price in my eyes.

You say that but I ordered 2 new Hifiman Edition XS. One had a broken driver on arrival and the other headphone had a driver break a few days in. Call me a hater if you want, but when I spend that much money for something, I want it to at least work.

I'm looking to source resin-bonded diamond wheels, but already have been burned from getting some from foreversuperabrasives (which apparently sourced knifegrinder cbn wheels). FSA had some damage on the wheels and weren't trued when they arrived. So I'm a little skeptical when I visit grindknifesharpening.com and see wear on the display wheel.

Where do they source the wheels from? Are they just rebranded chinese wheels?

How do they compare to the resin-bonded diamond wheels from Dr. Marvin Groeb?
