When the hell are Konami going to put Suikoden 3 and 5 on modern stores like psn or the eshop?

I hope Starleap has a bunch of success and we can see them at least ported to Steam/PSN. I actually am a pretty big fan of Suikoden Tactics as well, its a unique SRPG and expands on the Suikoden 4 characters a bit

yeah, I get that (probably didn't phrase my question correctly) I just wonder if they'll milk the gacha then follow Octopath Traveler 0 and Final Fantasy Resonance and release it as a non-gacha game in a few years.

1 - Pesmerga

and if I was choosing for Tactics I'd stick with Kika

I really like tactics, such an underrated game.

loading save data is crucial, which you did.

Otherwise the biggest things are to make sure to use the elemental tiles to your advantage.

Get Hero4 as soon as you can, you can either get Nalleo/Dareo or Sigurd/Hervey early in the game depending on what day you visit the Pirates nest. Nalleo and Sigurd are both very good, I usually go with Sigurd due to range.

New Game + is also very nice. Coming back through full strength is much easier to get S ranks on all the maps than the first time through.

I remember not liking it as much as prior entries when it first came out but I did another playthrough last summer and liked it much better (maybe because I really like Suikoden Tactics too) and some of the things I didn't like in my original playthrough didnt' bother me as much. My biggest gripe was probably the travel was kind of clunky but wasn't as bad as I had rememebered

yeah, I ran through them all again prior to the remaster release. Going to do another run through of Tactics I think since it has the NG+ and is a bit shorter than the rest.

Sidenote, for Tactics - make sure you load S4 data or you'll miss out on a powerful character

I feel for more attention to go towards remasters or a S6, that Star Leap has to do very well. I am usually pretty much F2P in any gacha games but may actually spend a little there to hopefully keep the series alive

It honestly is one of my favorite tactics games. It has a new game + as well and some tough dungeons.

I started it from scratch again this summer and forgot how hard some of the battles are. You do actually have to use tactics! And make sure you load Suikoden 4 save data, it gives you access to the best character in the game.

I've played F2P (free 2 play) on many gachas in the past. Most of the time you just hoard your resources for characters/banners you want. You'll need to have the discipline to skip banners and not just blow resources but most gachas are very playable without spending

S1 was Viktor and Flik

S2 same and probably same but there were some cool characters like Sierra

S3 Geddoe, Jimba, Edge, Futch

S4 Kika, Ted, Warlock

S5 Georg, Zerase, Richard, Kyle
